Electron-Doped 1T-MoS2 via Interface Engineering for Enhanced Electrocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate a heteronanostructure for hydrogen evolution reaction, which consists of metallic 1T-MoS2 nanopatches grown on the surface of flexible single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) films.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of silver nanowires by a novel solid-liquid phase arc discharge method

TL;DR: In this article, a novel technique for fabrication of silver nanowires was successfully developed via a so-called solid−liquid phase arc discharge method (SLPAD), which was found that the aging time following the SLPAD method has a significant effect on the formation and growth of silver nano-wires.
Journal ArticleDOI

Stable Metallic 1T-WS2 Nanoribbons Intercalated with Ammonia Ions: The Correlation between Structure and Electrical/Optical Properties

TL;DR: Stable metallic 1T-WS2 nanoribbons with zigzag chain superlattices, highly stabilized by ammonia-ion intercalation, are produced using a facile bottom-up process and the correlations between structure and properties are further confirmed by theory calculations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Vertical 1T-MoS2 nanosheets with expanded interlayer spacing edged on a graphene frame for high rate lithium-ion batteries.

TL;DR: Vertical 1T-MoS2 nanosheets with an expanded interlayer spacing of 9.8 Å were successfully grown on a graphene surface via a one-step solvothermal method, providing strong electrical and chemical coupling between the vertical nanOSheets and graphene layers by means of C-O-Mo bonding.
Journal ArticleDOI

Stable 1T-MoSe2 and Carbon Nanotube Hybridized Flexible Film: Binder-Free and High-Performance Li-Ion Anode

TL;DR: This synthetic route of a multifunctional MoSe2/SWCNTs hybrid might be extended to fabricate other 2D layer-based flexible and light electrodes for various applications such as electronics, optics, and catalysts.
