The ameliorative effect of melatonin on LPS-induced Sertoli cells inflammatory and tight junctions damage via suppression of the TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway in newborn calf
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of Melatonin (MT) on the protection of the blood-testicular barrier (BTB) was investigated in newborn calf Sertoli cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cadmium induces testosterone synthesis disorder by testicular cell damage via TLR4/MAPK/NF-κB signaling pathway leading to reduced sexual behavior in piglets.
Yulong Li,Yue Zhang,Rui Feng,Peng Zheng,He Huang,Sitong Zhou,Wenbo Ji,Fushuo Huang,Honggui Liu,Guixue Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the effects of Cadmium (Cd) on male piglets' sexual behavior were explored for 40 days to explore the toxic effects of Cd on sexual behavior.
Journal ArticleDOI
Progesterone regulates inflammation and receptivity of cells via the NF-κB and LIF/STAT3 pathways.
Rui Feng,Xue Qin,Qi Li,Samson Olugbenga Adeniran,Fushuo Huang,Yulong Li,Qian Zhao,Peng Zheng +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the effects of ammonia chloride and Progesterone (P4) on bovine endometrial epithelial cells (BEEC) were investigated and the results showed that ammonia decreased the viability of BEEC, upregulated ROS level and apoptosis rate, and upregulated the expressions of Bax, Bcl-2, P53, Cyt-c, Caspase-3, caspase8 and caspases-9.
Journal ArticleDOI
Alleviative effect of melatonin on the decrease of uterine receptivity caused by blood ammonia through ROS/NF-κB pathway in dairy cow.
TL;DR: In this paper , a bovine endometrial epithelial cell (EEC) was treated with ammonium chloride and/or melatonin, and the expression of VEGF and inflammatory factors (TLR-4, IL-6 and NF-κB) were detected.
