Scanning torsional-flexural frequencies of thin-walled box girders with rough surface from vehicles’ residual contact response: Theoretical study
TL;DR: In this article, the retrieval of torsional-flexural frequencies of mono-symmetric thin-walled box girder bridges from vehicles' residual contact response for the first time was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Theoretical study on a dual-beam model for detection of track/bridge frequencies and track modulus by a moving vehicle
TL;DR: In this article, a theory for retrieving the track/bridge frequencies and track modulus from an instrumented vehicle moving over a dual-beam model to simulate the track-bridge system is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Seismic performance of reinforced concrete squat walls with embedded cold-formed and thin walled steel truss
TL;DR: In this paper, the seismic performance of squat reinforced concrete (RC) walls with embedded cold-formed and thin walled (CFTW) steel truss was investigated and analytical studies were conducted, and the experimental behaviors of test specimens including damage development process, load-deformation responses, stiffness degradation, energy dissipation capacity, failure pattern and ductility were discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Contact Residue for Simultaneous Removal of Vehicle’s Frequency and Surface Roughness in Scanning Bridge Frequencies Using Two Connected Vehicles
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the vehicle-to-briane (V2B) algorithm for bridge frequency estimation, which is based on the frequency of the test vehicle itself.
Journal ArticleDOI
Seismic Behavior of Bolted Endplate Connection Between Steel Reinforced Concrete (SRC) Wall and SRC Beam for Use in High-Rise Buildings
TL;DR: In this article, a bolted endplate connection between steel reinforced concrete (SRC) wall and SRC beam has been proposed and studied to improve the constructability of the steel and concrete composite coupled wall system while maintaining good seismic performance.
