Preparation and corrosion behaviors of calcium phosphate conversion coating on magnesium alloy
Yingchao Su,Yingchao Su,Yunting Guo,Huang Zilong,Zhihui Zhang,Guangyu Li,Jianshe Lian,Luquan Ren +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a calcium phosphate conversion coating (CPCC) was applied to an AZ60 Mg alloy through an easily controlled phosphating method, and the effects of pH and temperature of the solution on the coating process, microstructure, porosity, and electrochemical and immersion corrosion behaviors of the CPCC were analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced corrosion resistance and biocompatibility of biodegradable magnesium alloy modified by calcium phosphate/collagen coating
TL;DR: In this article, a composite coating which composed of calcium phosphate (CaP) and collagen (Col) was successfully fabricated on the surface by chemical conversion and dip-coating methods, and the chemical compositions, surface morphologies and corrosion resistance of the CaP/Col coating were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electrochemical and immersion test.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study on properties of SLM-NiTi shape memory alloy under the same energy density
Zhenglei Yu,Zezhou Xu,Yunting Guo,Renlong Xin,Ruiyao Liu,Chaorui Jiang,Lunxiang Li,Lunxiang Li,Zhihui Zhang,Luquan Ren +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors designed and prepared five sets of selective laser melting (SLM)-NiTi shape memory alloys with the same energy density (range of 40 −90 J/mm3).
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced corrosion resistance and biocompatibility of polydopamine/dicalcium phosphate dihydrate/collagen composite coating on magnesium alloy for orthopedic applications
TL;DR: In this paper, a multifunctional composite coating composed of polydopamine (PDA), dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (DCPD), collagen (Col) was prepared by a two-step chemical method.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydroxyapatite/Titania Composite Coatings on Biodegradable Magnesium Alloy for Enhanced Corrosion Resistance, Cytocompatibility and Antibacterial Properties
Yunting Guo,Yingchao Su,Yingchao Su,Siqi Jia,Guixun Sun,Rui Gu,Donghui Zhu,Guangyu Li,Jianshe Lian +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a titania (TiO2) coating was prepared on the hydroxyapatite (HA) coated Mg alloy by a sol-gel method to improve the corrosion resistance and bioactivity for orthopedic application.
