Influence of irradiation upon few-layered graphene using electron-beams and gamma-rays

TL;DR: In this article, a few-layered graphene (FLG) is irradiated by electron beams and gamma rays and the results indicate the crystallinity of FLG decreases first, then restores as increasing irradiation doses, additionally, the ratio (O/C) of the FLG surface and the relative content of oxygen groups increases after irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of WS2 addition on electrical sliding wear behaviors of Cu–graphite–WS2 composites

TL;DR: In this article, four kinds of Cu-based composites with different mass ratios of graphite and WS2 as lubricants were fabricated by hot-pressing method, and the results demonstrated that 800 °C was the optimum sintering temperature for Cu-graphite-WS2 dual-lubricant composites to obtain the best comprehensive properties of mechanical strength and lubrication performance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of La2O3 on electrical friction and wear properties of Cu-graphite composites

TL;DR: In this article, a sliding friction and wear experiment was conducted on graphite composites with 3 vol.% of La2O3 and 37 vol. % of graphite with a constant sliding speed of 10 m/s, a current density of 10 A/cm2 and a load of 2.5 N/cm 2.

Composite nanotube composed of molybdenum disulfide-carbon-carbon nanotube and preparation method thereof

TL;DR: In this article, a composite nanotube composed of a molybdenum disulfide-carbon-carbon nanotubes and a preparation method thereof is presented, which comprises the following steps: firstly, orderly dissolving ammonium tetrathiomolybdate and a carbon high-molecular polymer with surface activity into water; then adding a multiwalled carbon nanotubes; centrifuging, drying and burning after carrying out ultrasonic dispersing, so as to prepare MoS2-C/CNTs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Morphological and structural evolution of WS2 nanosheets irradiated with an electron beam.

TL;DR: The morphological and structural evolution of WS2 nanosheets under electron irradiation is investigated using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and it is found that the damage to theWS2 nanOSheets became more severe with increasing electron energies and irradiation times.
