Andrographolide impairs alpha-naphthylisothiocyanate-induced cholestatic liver injury in vivo
Lei Wang,Fei Cao,Li-li Zhu,Peng Liu,Yuru Shang,Wen-hui Liu,Xin Dong,Haidong Bao,Peng Gong,Zhongyu Wang +9 more
TL;DR: The data suggest that andrographolide may impair cholestatic liver injury via anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative stress.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lymph node ratio, but not the total number of examined lymph nodes or lymph node metastasis, is a predictor of overall survival for pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms after surgical resection.
Peng Liu,Xianbin Zhang,Xianbin Zhang,Yuru Shang,Lili Lu,Fei Cao,Min Sun,Zhaohui Tang,Brigitte Vollmar,Peng Gong +9 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that the LNR, not the total number of ELNs and the lymph node metastasis, is an independent prognostic indicator of overall survival for pNENs after surgical resection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pancreaticoduodenectomy is justified in a subset of elderly patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma: A population-based retrospective cohort study of 4,283 patients.
Lili Lu,Xianbin Zhang,Xianbin Zhang,Guanglin Tang,Yuru Shang,Peng Liu,Yushan Wei,Peng Gong,Peng Gong,Li Ma +9 more
TL;DR: Advanced age (age ≥75 years) is not an independent risk factor for diseases specific survival (DSS) and PD is justified in a subset of elderly PDAC patients; however, it should be performed in a high-volume center to minimize the risk of post operative complications.
Journal ArticleDOI
The number of positive lymph node is a better predictor of survival than the lymph node metastasis status for pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms: A retrospective cohort study.
TL;DR: The NPLN seems more meaningful than the lymph node metastasis status as prognostic factor for survival in pancreatic adenocarcinoma cohorts, and taking into account the prognostic value of NPLn for pNENs might improve the current TNM staging systems.
Journal ArticleDOI
A modified M-stage classification based on the metastatic patterns of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms: a population-based study
Xianbin Zhang,Xianbin Zhang,Jiaxin Song,Peng Liu,Mohammad Abdul Mazid,Lili Lu,Yuru Shang,Yushan Wei,Peng Gong,Li Ma +9 more
TL;DR: The modified M-stage classification is superior to both AJCC and ENETS M- stage classifications in the prognosis of pNENs and had superior discriminatory capability than both the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) and the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS) M-Stage classifications.
