Determination of the Optimum Conditions for Leaching of Malachite Ore in H2SO4 Solutions
TL;DR: In this paper, the Taguchi method has been used to determine the optimum conditions for the dissolution of malachite ore in H2SO4 solutions, and the chosen experimental parameters and their range were (i) reaction temperature: 15 to 45 °C, (ii) solid-to-liquid ratio: 1/10 to 1/3 g cm-3, (iii) acid concentration (in weight): 2 % to 10 %, particle size: –40 to 3.5 mesh, (iv) stirring speed: 240 to 720 rpm, and (vi) reaction time
Journal ArticleDOI
Leaching kinetics of sphalerite with pyrite in chlorine saturated water
TL;DR: In this article, the leaching kinetics of sphalerite with pyrite, in water saturated in chlorine, have been investigated, and the mechanism of dissolution reaction for sphalite and pyrites was found to be diffusion controlled through the product layer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optimisation of the chlorination of gold in decopperized anode slime in aqueous medium
TL;DR: In this article, a study was conducted to determine optimum conditions for the chlorination of gold in decopperized anode slime with chlorine gas in aqueous medium by the Taguchi experimental design method.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optimization and modeling of boric acid extraction from colemanite in water saturated with carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide gases
TL;DR: In this paper, the boric acid extraction from colemanite ore in aqueous media saturated by CO2 and SO2 gases was studied and the effects of relevant parameters, namely; reaction temperature, solid-to-liquid ratio, mean particle size, stirring speed, and reaction time have been investigated on the Boric acid extractor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Recovery of copper powders from leach solutions containing copper by means of ammonia, sulphur dioxide and acetonitrile
TL;DR: In this article, copper was precipitated as sulphites to produce copper powders from its impure solutions, and the appropriate precipitation conditions of Chevreul's salt were obtained at pH value of 4, the stirring speed at 600 rpm, the temperature at 60 °C, passing time of SO2 at 1 min and reaction time after passing SO 2 at 6 min.
