An Automation System for Controlling Streetlights and Monitoring Objects Using Arduino.
Zain Mumtaz,Saleem Ullah,Zeeshan Ilyas,Naila Aslam,Shahid Iqbal,Shuo Liu,Jehangir Arshad Meo,Hamza Ahmad Madni +7 more
TL;DR: An Arduino-based automation system to control the streetlights based on solar rays and object’s detection, which can be easily tested and implemented under real conditions at large-scale in the near future.
Journal ArticleDOI
Single-Equipment with Multiple-Application for an Automated Robot-Car Control System
TL;DR: The experimental results prove that the proposed work has all in one capability (hand-gesture, touch buttons and voice-recognition with mobile-application, obstacle detection), is very easy to use, and can be easily assembled in a simple hardware circuit.
Posted ContentDOI
An Automated Robot-Car Control System with Hand-Gestures and Mobile Application Using Arduino
TL;DR: An Arduino based vehicle system which no longer require manual controlling of the cars is introduced and it is shown that the car can be controlled with hand-gestures according to the movement and position of the hand.

Automatic streetlights that glow on detecting night and object using Arduino.
Zain Mumtaz,Saleem Ullah,Zeeshan Ilyas,Shuo Liu,Naila Aslam,Jehangir Arshad Meo,Hamza Ahmad Madni +6 more
TL;DR: The beauty of the proposed work is that the wastage of unused electricity can be reduced, lifetime of the streetlights gets enhance because the lights do not stay ON during the whole night, and helps to increase safety measurements.

An Intelligent Monitoring and Controlling of Greenhouse: Deployment of Wireless Sensor Networks and Internet-of-Things
Jehangir Arshad,Saqib Saleem,Muhammad Sana Ullah Badar,Samreen Khalid,Zain Mumtaz,Saleem Ullah,Zeeshan Illyas,Hamza Ahmad Madni +7 more
TL;DR: An architecture consisting of an embedded system and a wireless sensor network that could be employed to monitor the climatic parameters such as humidity, temperature, carbon dioxide, acidity, soil moisture, and light intensity etc in a greenhouse is devised.
