Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrothermal synthesis and photocatalytic properties of ATaO3ATaO3 and ANbO3ANbO3 (A=NaA=Na and K)

TL;DR: In this paper, the photocatalytic activity of powders with perovskite structure was investigated and the effect of the amount of NaOH in the NaTaO3 preparation was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhancing anaerobic digestion and methane production of tetracycline wastewater in EGSB reactor with GAC/NZVI mediator.

TL;DR: Investigation of the enhancement effects and mechanism for anaerobic digestion of tetracycline wastewater and its impacts on microbial community structure indicated that GAC/NZVI could enhance COD and TOC removal by 12.1% and 10.3%, while have no evident influence on tetrACYcline removal and sulfide production.
Journal ArticleDOI

Response of anaerobic granular sludge to iron oxide nanoparticles and multi-wall carbon nanotubes during beet sugar industrial wastewater treatment

TL;DR: It is revealed that AGS produced extracellular polymeric substances, which interacted with the IONPs and MWCNTs, which provided cell protection and prevented the nanoparticles from piercing through the membranes and thus cytotoxicity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Occurrence and removal efficiencies of eight EDCs and estrogenicity in a STP

TL;DR: The total estrogenicity increased after primary treatment which might be owing to the deconjugating of estrogen compounds by microbial activity, and the biological treatment was crucial to EEQ removal.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bidirectional electron transfer biofilm assisted complete bioelectrochemical denitrification process

TL;DR: In this paper, a bidirectional electron transfer cathodic biofilm dominated by Geobacter sp. was obtained by polarity reversion from anode to achieve complete nitrogen removal of 98.5% (R1), where the Geobacteria sp was sustained by adding 0.1"g L 1 sodium acetate.
