Journal ArticleDOI

Single-photon computational 3D imaging at 45 km

TL;DR: This work builds a high-efficiency, low-noise confocal single-photon LiDAR system, and develops a long-range-tailored computational algorithm that provides high photon efficiency and super-resolution in the transverse domain for high-precision three-dimensional imaging over long distances.
Journal ArticleDOI

Single-photon imaging over 200 km

TL;DR: In this article, a single-photon light detection and ranging (lidar) system capable of realizing 3D imaging at up to 201.5 km is presented, using high-efficiency optical devices for collection and detection, and what they believe is a new noise-suppression technique that is efficient for long-range applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Super-resolution single-photon imaging at 8.2 kilometers

TL;DR: This work proposes and demonstrates a photon-efficient LiDAR approach that can achieve sub-Rayleigh resolution imaging over long ranges and experimentally demonstrated active three-dimensional single-photon imaging by recognizing different postures of a mannequin model at a stand-off distance of 8.2 km.
