The invention provides the functional gene ltn3 for regulating and controlling leaf senescence for rice high-yield breeding. The gene improves the synthetic amount of the biological photosynthesis by regulating and controlling leaf senescence delay. Meanwhile, the gene can also regulate, control and improve the content of chlorophyll in the leaves of the rice and improve the photosynthetic efficiency, thereby promoting the improvement of the yield of the rice; and the ltn3 gene also affects leaf tip wilting and is helpful to study the genetic mechanism of leaf tip wilting in rice.

The invention provides a molecular marker R207 coseparated with a few-tillering gene Ltn3 of wheat, wherein the marker R207 is located on a long arm of a 2D chromosome of wheat, and the nucleotide sequence is shown as in SEQ ID NO:1. The molecular marker R207 is coseparated with the few-tillering gene Ltn3 and can be used to the marker-assisted selection; and the detection result shows that the molecular marker can accurately track the few-tillering gene of wheat and predicts the tillering feature of the wheat, so that molecular designing and breeding can be conveniently conducted. The invention provides a molecular marker closely linked with the wheat flag leaf length QTL QFll.sicau-4D, which is a molecular marker HRM4. The nucleotide sequence of the molecular marker is as shown in SEQ ID No:1; and the molecular marker HRM4 and the wheat flag leaf length QTL QFll.sicau-4D have a genetic distance of 0.5cm, and are positioned on the 4D chromosome of wheat. Detection analysis indicates that the molecular marker can be used for accurately tracking the wheat flag leaf length QTL and predicting the characteristics of flag leaf length of wheat, so that breeding by molecular design can be facilitated. The invention further provides application of the molecular marker HRM4 in wheat breeding. By utilizing the method provided by the invention, the accuracy of flag leaf length prediction can be reinforced, so that varieties or strains having QTL capable of increasing flag leaf length can be quickly screened for breeding, and the selecting process of wheat high-yield varieties can be greatly accelerated.

Molecular marker closely linked with wheat flag leaf length QTL QFll.sicau-4D and application thereof

The invention provides a molecular marker closely linked with a flag leaf length QTL QFll.sicau-2D of wheat. A nucleotide sequence of the molecular marker HRM6 is shown as SEQ ID No:1; a genetic distance between the molecular marker HRM6 and the flag leaf length QTL QFll.sicau-2D of wheat is 0.01cM, and the molecular marker and the flag leaf length are both located on a 2D chromosome of the wheat. Detection and analysis show that the molecular marker can accurately track the flag leaf length QTL of the wheat, predict the flag leaf length characteristics of the wheat, and then facilitate molecular design breeding. The invention also provides application of the molecular marker HRM6 in wheat breeding. The method provided by the invention can enhance the accuracy of prediction of the flag leaf length, in order to quickly screen out a wheat variety or line capable of increasing the flag leaf length QTL for breeding, so that the breeding process of high-yield wheat varieties is greatly accelerated.
