Gasification Reactivity and Structure Evolution of Metallurgical Coke under H2O/CO2 Atmosphere

TL;DR: In this article, the metallurgical properties and the microstructure of coke after gasification reaction with pure H2O and pure CO2 were investigated, and the results showed that the CRI (coke reaction index) increases sharply and the CSR(coke strength after reaction) decreases sharply, when the cokes are gasified with H 2O as compared to CO2.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal-like microstructural Finemet/FeSi compound powder core with excellent soft magnetic properties and its loss separation analysis

TL;DR: In this article, a loss-separation fitting model for the compound cores mixed with different mass fractions of FeSi powders was built to analyze the relative loss mechanism and source of each part loss, which indicated that the powder micro-structure design is a promising method to further improve magnetic performances for soft magnetic composites.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Effect of H2O on the Reactivity and Microstructure of Metallurgical Coke

TL;DR: In this article, an improved device of coke gasification reaction is employed to investigate the change rules of cokes reactivity and strength after reaction, as well as coke microstructure, and pore size.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of iron ore type on the thermal behaviour and kinetics of coal-iron ore briquettes during coking

TL;DR: In this article, the thermal behavior and reaction kinetics of coal-iron ore briquettes during coking were investigated using the thermal analysis method, and the results showed that all three iron ores were completely reduced to Fe at the final coking stage.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence mechanism of zinc on the solution loss reaction of coke used in blast furnace

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of zinc on the solution loss reaction of coke at high temperature was studied using the method of liquid phase adsorption, and the results showed that zinc can increase the coke reactivity index (CRI) and decrease coke strength after reaction (CSR ).
