Adjusting the frameworks of polymeric silver(I) complexes with 2-aminopyrimidyl ligands by changing the counterions

TL;DR: In this paper, Ag2(L)2(SO4) with 2-amino-4,6-dimethylpyrimidine (L′) in H2O has been shown to form a pleated molecular sheet consisting of twenty four-membered metallocycles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ag(I) Complexes Containing Flexible N,N‘-Di(2-pyridyl)adipoamide Ligands: Syntheses, Structures, and Ligand Conformations

TL;DR: A new flexible ligand N,N-di(2-pyridyl)adipoamide, LCDCl3 (1), and L·2H2O (2), was proposed in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Roles of I⋯I and Ag⋯I interactions on the self-assembly of Ag(I) complexes containing 2-amino-5-iodopyrimidine; formation of the unique Ag⋯I⋯I⋯Ag interaction

TL;DR: A series of silver(I) complexes [Ag(L)(NO3)]4, (L = 2-amino-5-iodopyrimidine), 1, [Ag[L)(PF6)]∞, 2, and [Ag•L)(ClO4]∞, 3, have been prepared by the reactions of AgX (X = NO3−, PF6− and ClO4−, respectively) with L. All the complexes have been structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography, confirming that complex 1 forms sixteen-membered
Journal ArticleDOI

Ag(I) Complexes Containing N-Phenyl-N′-cyano-formamidine: Syntheses, Structures, and Ligand Conformations

TL;DR: In this paper, the unsymmetrical ligand N-phenyl-N'-cyano-formamidine (L) with AgX (X = NO 3, SO 3 CF 3, and BF 4 - ) was characterized by X-ray crystallography, which confirmed that complexes 2-5 are coordination polymers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Syntheses and structures of three new coordination polymers generated from the flexible 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane ligand and zinc salts

TL;DR: In this article, the reactions of Zn(O2CCH3)2· 6H2O, ZnSiF6, 6H 2O and ZnSO4· 6 H2O with bpp (bpp = 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane) in CH3OH were characterized by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
