NiS2/Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanocomposites for Efficient Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
TL;DR: NiS2 nanoparticles and nanocomposites of NiS2 with reduced graphene oxide have been successfully prepared via a facile hydrothermal reaction of nickel ions and sulfur source in the absence or presence of graphene oxide.
Journal ArticleDOI
A TiO2-nanotube-array-based photocatalytic fuel cell using refractory organic compounds as substrates for electricity generation.
TL;DR: A TiO(2)-nanotube-array-based photocatalytic fuel cell system was established for generation of electricity from various refractory organic compounds and simultaneous wastewater treatment and can respond to visible light and produce obviously enhanced cell performance when a narrow band-gap semiconductor was combined with TiO2 nanotubes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metal Selenides as Efficient Counter Electrodes for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
TL;DR: It is shown that metal selenides with a hollow sphere structure can function not only as an efficient electrocatalyst but also as a light-scattering layer in DSSCs, and that the in situ growth method exhibits advantages over other methods for fabricating stable and efficient CEs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Controlling the Charge Transfer in D–A–D Chromophores Based on Pyrazine Derivatives
TL;DR: The results suggest that extending the conjugation of a pyrazine acceptor in an orthogonal direction to the D-A-D backbone can dramatically improve the ICT interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Facile Synthesis and High Performance of a New Carbazole-Based Hole-Transporting Material for Hybrid Perovskite Solar Cells
Hong Wang,Arif D. Sheikh,Quanyou Feng,Quanyou Feng,Feng Li,Yin Chen,Weili Yu,Erkki Alarousu,Chun Ma,Azimul Haque,Dong Shi,Zhong-Sheng Wang,Omar F. Mohammed,Osman M. Bakr,Tom Wu +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, a carbazole-based compound (R01) was proposed as a new hole-transporting material (HTM) in efficient perovskite solar cells.
