Carbonized polyaniline activated peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for phenol degradation: Role of PMS adsorption and singlet oxygen generation
TL;DR: In this article, high-efficient N-doped carbon materials were prepared by direct carbonization of polyaniline (PANI) at 700 °C-1000 °C.
Journal ArticleDOI
Degradation behaviors of Isopropylphenazone and Aminopyrine and their genetic toxicity variations during UV/chloramine treatment.
TL;DR: The results showed that chloramine could hardly degrade PRP and AMP, while UV/chloramine greatly increased the observed first-order rate constant (kobs) of PRPand AMP degradation, and the results of the genetic toxicity according to the micronucleus test of Viciafaba root tip indicated that UV/ chloramine treatment could partially reduce the geneticoxicity ofPRP andAMP.
Journal ArticleDOI
Regulation of defects and nitrogen species on carbon nanotube by plasma-etching for peroxymonosulfate activation: Inducing non-radical/radical oxidation of organic contaminants.
TL;DR: In this paper , structural defects and heteroatom dopants of carbonaceous materials play critical roles in their activation of peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for organic pollutants removal.
