Adsorption and bio-sorption of nickel ions and reuse for 2-chlorophenol catalytic ozonation oxidation degradation from water.

TL;DR: The catalyst was directly prepared by the reuse of fly ash and sawdust after saturated adsorption of nickel ions from wastewater as an efficient and economic approach and could effectively improve the ozonation reaction rate at pH=7 with a 2:1 liquid-solid ratio.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of a novel catalyst based on Fe(II)/Fe(III) oxide and high alumina coal fly ash for the degradation of o-methyl phenol

TL;DR: In this paper, an effective and low-cost high alumina coal fly ash catalyst was synthesized by using of high aluminina coal and Fe(II)/Fe(III) oxide and the catalytic capacity of o-methyl phenol (OMP) in Oxidative degradation was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of modified Mg/Al layered double hydroxide in saccharide system and its application to remove As(V) from glucose solution

TL;DR: In this paper, a starch modified Mg/Al layered double hydroxide (LDH) adsorbent was firstly synthesized by co-precipitation method and the experimental results indicated that high surface areas had been achieved after the removal of starch molecules through calcination.

Preparation method and application of multifunctional material for water treatment

TL;DR: In this paper, a preparation method and an application of a multifunctional material for water treatment is presented, and the preparation method comprises the following steps: modifying the surface of high-alumina fly ash by utilizing an organic acid so as to obtain modified high alumina flies ash serving as a base material 1; compounding an acidic liquid obtained by separating, iron sludge and ferrous sulfate to adjust the ratio of Fe(II) to Fe(III) in the solution to be 1: (15-30); adjusting the alkalinity under a
