TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider Markov processes where particles die at rate δ ⩾ 0, births from x to a neighboring y occur at rate 1, and when a new particle lands on an occupied site the particles annihilate each other and a vacant site results.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that if A = {ai} is a primitive sequence such that each ai has at most four prime factors, the factors being counted according to multiplicity, then ∑ai ⩽ n 1(ai log ai), ∑p log p for n > 1, where p is a variable prime.

TL;DR: By reaction of Cp 3 Nd or CP 3 Yb (Cp  C 5 H 5 ) with o-nitrophenol (HNP) or α-nitroso-β-naphthol(HNN), eight new mixed-ligand lanthanide organometallics of the general formula Cp n Ln(NP) 3− n and Cp N Ln (NN) 3 − n ( n = 1, 2; NP = o -nitrophensolato ligand; NN = α

TL;DR: In this article, the universality of both the Birch equation and the equation of Vinet et al. was tested and discussed using the compressibility data for the 15 transition metals and 22 compounds.
Abstract: The universality of both the Birch equation and the equation of Vinet et al (1989) is tested and discussed using the compressibility data for the 15 transition metals and 22 compounds

TL;DR: In this paper, a new type of organolanthanide complexes with three different ligands, CpLn(Cl)[OCOC 6 H 4 ( o -Z)] (Ln = Sm, Yb; Z = H, F, Br, I and OCH 3 ), were synthesized.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, a class of singularly perturbed initial-boundary value problems for the reaction diffusion systems is considered, and it is shown that these problems have a solution and obtain their asymptotic expansion.
Abstract: In this paper, a class of singularly perturbed initial-boundary value problems for the reaction diffusion systems is considered. Using the theory of differential inequality, we prove that the initial-boundary value problems have a solution and obtain their asymptotic expansion.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, a novel theory suitable for the calculation of statistical properties of complex molecular spectra is presented. And the spectral fluctuations of NO 2 VIS spectra are calculated by using this theory.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that Davidson's equivalent norm is not antiproximinal in (l 1,¦·¦) ∗∗, where ¦ is the norm constructed in [1].
