TL;DR: A plant product is reported that many act as a selective weedicide.
Abstract: Studies on plant products have revealed that many of them may either act as fungicides,1,2) insecticides,3)chemosterilants,4,5) moluscicides,6) bactericides7) or as virucides.8) Although there are a number of reports on natural inhibitors of germination and growth,9) and on allelochemics,10) little work seems to have been done with respect to their possible selective effects, hence to their possible use as selective weedicides. Here we report a plant product that many act as a selective weedicide.

TL;DR: In this paper, phase diagrams, undercooling and linear velocity of crystallization of molten mixtures of α naphthol-m aminophenol, α NPHN-phenathrene, β nAPHTHOL-phenanthrene and β naphTHOLm amINophenol were measured with a view to elucidate the chemistry of binary and ternary organic eutectics.
Abstract: With a view to elucidate the chemistry of binary and ternary organic eutectics, we measured phase diagrams, undercooling and linear velocity of crystallization of molten mixtures of α naphthol-m aminophenol, α naphthol-phenathrene, β naphthol-phenanthrene, β naphthol-m aminophenol, α naphthol-β naphthol-catechol, α naphthol-catechol-naphthalene, α naphthol-β naphthol-phenanthrene and α naphthol-β naphthol-m aminophenol systems. Microscopic studies and heat of fusion measurements were made to investigate the characteristics of the eutectics. The heats of fusion data do not obey the mixture law. The excess thermodynamic functions such as gE,hE and SE were also computed for the binary systems. Microscopic studies showed that freshly precipitated eutectics have different characteristics as compared to parent components. The growth rates are analyzed using the current theories of crystallization and a mechanism of growth has been proposed for the binary and ternary eutectics.

TL;DR: An exact solution for a spherically-symmetric model of a magneto-radiative shock wave in the solar wind caused by the explosive energy release of a solar flare has been, obtained in the case when energy released is an increasing function of the time.
Abstract: An exact solution for a spherically-symmetric model of a magneto-radiative shock wave in the solar wind caused by the explosive energy release of a solar flare has been, obtained in the case when energy released is an increasing function of the time. It has been shown that due to increasing energy, density, pressure, radiation flux, magnetic field and shock velocity change considerably.

TL;DR: Root nodules ofPhaseolus mungo were extracted for their cytokinin content and Rf values obtained by co-chromatography with authentic samples of cytokinins on thin layer of a mixture of polyvinylpyrrolidone/CaSO4 were obtained.
Abstract: Root nodules ofPhaseolus mungo were extracted for their cytokinin content Four cytokininsviz zeatin, zeatin riboside, N6(‡2-isopentenyl) aminopurine and its riboside were identified on the basis of Rf values obtained by co-chromatography with authentic samples of cytokinins on thin layer of a mixture of polyvinylpyrrolidone/CaSO4

TL;DR: Fourteen new O, O-dialkyl N-[4-(N-heteroarylsulfamoyl)phosphoramidothioate having thiazoles and oxadiazoles as heteroaryl moieties have been synthesised and their fungicidal activities have been compared with those of two commercial fungicides.
Abstract: Fourteen new O, O-dialkyl N-[4-(N-heteroarylsulfamoyl)phosphoramidothioate having thiazoles and oxadiazoles as heteroaryl moieties have been synthesised. They have been tested against two species of fungi and their fungicidal activities have been compared with those of two commercial fungicides, viz., Dithane M-45 and Bavistin.

TL;DR: Cobalt picrate and cobalt picramate were prepared, their IR spectra were recorded in KBr, explosion delay, explosion temperature, activation energy, and explosion pressure were measured as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: Cobalt picrate and cobalt picramate were prepared, their IR spectra were recorded in KBr. Explosion delay, explosion temperature, activation energy, and explosion pressure were measured. Cobalt picrate is thermally more stable than cobalt picramate.
