TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the effect of Agile use in organizations on two dimensions of project success: efficiency and overall stakeholder satisfaction against organizational goals, and found that the quality of the vision/goals is a marginally significant moderator of this effect.

TL;DR: In this paper, the Schrodinger-Hirota equation was solved by the ansatz method for bright and dark 1-soliton solution, where the power law nonlinearity was assumed.
Abstract: The Schrodinger–Hirota equation governs the propagation of optical solitons in a dispersive optical fiber. In this paper, this equation will be solved by the ansatz method for bright and dark 1-soliton solution. The power law nonlinearity will be assumed. By using the tanh method, some additional solutions will be derived. Finally, the numerical simulations will be given.

TL;DR: The authors found that women are more commonly necessity-driven entrepreneurs and receive lower incomes from their entrepreneurial endeavor than men despite being better educated, while men are more likely to be better educated.
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to evaluate critically the gender variations in informal sector entrepreneurship. Until now, a widely-held belief has been that entrepreneurs operating in the informal sector in developing nations are lowly paid, poorly educated, marginalized populations doing so out of necessity as a survival strategy in the absence of alternatives. Reporting an extensive 2003 survey conducted in urban Brazil of informal sector entrepreneurs operating micro-enterprises with five or less employees, the finding is that although less than half of these entrepreneurs are driven out of necessity into entrepreneurial endeavor in the informal economy, women are more commonly necessity-driven entrepreneurs and receive lower incomes from their entrepreneurial endeavor than men despite being better educated. The outcome is a call to recognize how the gender disparities in the wider labor market are mirrored and reinforced by the participation of men and women in the realm of informal sector entrepreneurship.

TL;DR: The impact of fluid administration on the EG is investigated, including its potential of protecting the microcirculation from the detrimental effects of trauma, and particular emphasis is reserved to the role of inflammatory modulation and sensible fluid resuscitation.
Abstract: Trauma represents a remarkable social and economical burden, being a leading cause of death and morbidity in the young population. The Endothelial Glycocalyx (EG) is a web of membrane bound to the luminal side of the blood vessels endothelium. Its role includes maintenance of the vascular permeability barrier and mediation of shear response. The contribution of the EG to a number of clinical conditions, sepsis, and ischemia/reperfusion injury among others has been well studied. With this review we initially explore the role of the EG in the microcirculatory dysfunction associated with trauma. Subsequently, we investigate the impact of fluid administration on the EG, including its potential of protecting the microcirculation from the detrimental effects of trauma. Particular emphasis is reserved to the role of inflammatory modulation and sensible fluid resuscitation.
