TL;DR: In this article, an analysis of damageability and determination of dominating mechanisms through which thinning occurs to the metal of elements used in the tube system of heat recovery boilers used as part of combined-cycle plants during operation and during their outages is presented.
Abstract: We present the results from an analysis of damageability and determination of dominating mechanisms through which thinning occurs to the metal of elements used in the tube system of heat recovery boilers used as part of combined-cycle plants during operation and during their outages. Results obtained from putting in use a technology for making the tubes of such boilers more resistant to erosion-corrosion wear with the aid of film-forming amines are also presented. Measures are proposed on extending the service life of the tube system of heat recovery boilers used as part of combined-cycle plants and operating under the conditions of single- and two-phase flows.

TL;DR: The results from studies carried out at the Ivanovo State Power Engineering University’s Department of Control Systems are generalized with the purpose of improving the technology of end-to end designing and developing the functional structure of automated process control systems for thermal power stations.
Abstract: The main problems relating to technology for development of automated process control systems for power units at thermal power stations implemented on the basis of computerized automation suites with a network structure are analyzed. The results from studies carried out at the Ivanovo State Power Engineering University’s Department of Control Systems are generalized with the purpose of improving the technology of end-to end designing and developing the functional structure of automated process control systems for thermal power stations.

TL;DR: In this article, the results obtained from laboratory studies and in the course of industrial tests of water treatment technologies used in new water treatment plants operating on low-mineralized water with high oxidizability (characterized by the permanganate oxidizer Ox = 15-25 mg O/dm3) are described.
Abstract: The results obtained from laboratory studies and in the course of industrial tests of water treatment technologies used in new water treatment plants operating on low-mineralized water with high oxidizability (characterized by the permanganate oxidizability Ox = 15–25 mg O/dm3) are described. Data obtained from operational examination of a weak-base anion-exchange resin carried out after the plant had produced 150000 m3 of demineralized water are presented.

TL;DR: In this paper, a stochastic model is proposed using which the number of damages to network pipelines and steam lines at thermal power stations can be predicted with an accuracy of up to fluctuations.
Abstract: A stochastic model is proposed using which the number of damages to network pipelines and steam lines at thermal power stations can be predicted with an accuracy of up to fluctuations. The model is constructed on the basis of Kolmogorov’s equation, a semiempirical equation for a growth in the average number of damages, and results from a regression analysis of data obtained from surveillance of the state of pipelines.

TL;DR: In this paper, the resonance frequencies and vibration modes of a gas turbine blade having a transpiration cooling system made in the form of a set of rectilinear pores are analyzed.
Abstract: Matters relating to application of the theory of saturated porous media for analyzing the dynamic characteristics of structural elements of power equipment are considered. Calculations of the resonance frequencies and vibration modes of a gas turbine blade having a transpiration cooling system made in the form of a set of rectilinear pores are presented.
