TL;DR: In this article, a study of tuning the patch antenna on a ferrite substrate to exploit this feature is reported, along with the associated theoretical analysis and experimental findings, which leads to multiresonant behavior.
Abstract: The permeability variation of a ferrite substrate with an axial DC magnetic bias field along with the RF excitation of a microstrip antenna leads to multiresonant behavior. A study of tuning the patch antenna on a ferrite substrate to exploit this feature is reported, along with the associated theoretical analysis and experimental findings. >

TL;DR: In this article, the concept of a stochastic process is applied to the problem of surface roughness in the dynamic characteristics of hydrodynamic journal bearings of finite width, and the roughness is uniformly distributed over the bearing surfaces with no preferred position or direction in the surface.

TL;DR: Three different methods, viz., a perturbative analysis of the Schr\"odinger equation, an abstract differential geometric method, and a semiclassical reduction of the Wheeler-Dewitt equation, relating the Pancharatnam phase to vacuum instability are discussed.
Abstract: Three different methods, viz., (i) a perturbative analysis of the Schr\"odinger equation, (ii) an abstract differential geometric method, and (iii) a semiclassical reduction of the Wheeler-Dewitt equation, relating the Pancharatnam phase to vacuum instability are discussed. An improved semiclassical reduction is also shown to yield the correct zeroth-order semiclassical Einstein equations with back reaction. This constitutes an extension of our earlier discussions on the topic.

TL;DR: In this paper, the semiclassical backreaction in a mini-superspace gravity-matter system was shown to be completely determined by Berry's phase in an adiabatic limit.
Abstract: The semiclassical backreaction in a mini-superspace gravity-matter system is shown to be completely determined by Berry’s phase in an adiabatic limit. An interesting relationship between the Berry’s phase and the wormhole charge is also derived.

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel epoxy-maleimide resins, 4maleimidophenyl glycidyl ether (MGE), was prepared from 4-aminophenol and characterisation was carried out by estimation of the epoxy equivalent and by IR and 1 H-NMR spectroscopy.

TL;DR: In this article, copolymerisation of N-phenyl maleimide (NPM) and γ-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy-silane (MTS) using benzoyl peroxide as an initiator is described.
Abstract: Copolymerisation of N-phenyl maleimide (NPM) and γ-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy-silane (MTS) in dioxan solution using benzoyl peroxide as an initiator is described. The rate of copolymerisation depended on the mole fraction of NPM in the initial feed and decreased with an increase in NPM content. Copolymers having a mole fraction of NPM varying from 0.29 to 0.55 exhibited similar thermal behaviour in terms of initial decom-position temperature or temperature of maximum rate of weight loss. However, char yield at 600°C depended on NPM content, showing a tendency to increase with the increase in NPM content. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
