16 Jun 1986TL;DR: In this paper, the cow-pox virus was used to infect mammalian cells in order to obtain cells producing IFN- gamma which may be used in therapeutical compositions, and the authors described a virus that comprises all or part of a DNA sequence coding for IFN gamma.
Abstract: The invention relates to a virus of the cow-pox, characterized in that it comprises all or part of a DNA sequence coding for IFN- gamma . This virus may be used to infect mammal cells in order to obtain cells producing IFN- gamma which may be used in therapeutical compositions.

TL;DR: Analysis of a series of λ cII::α1‐antitrypsin (α1AT) gene fusions showed that increased α1AT expression correlated with the stabilisation of a particular computer‐predicted RNA secondary structure, indicating that RNA primary and secondary structure determinants can operate in concert to dictate the efficiency of protein synthesis.
