TL;DR: In this article, a relation between normalized analytic functions and Janowski star-like functions is discussed, and the authors determine the radii for the class of starlike functions and some other geometrically defined classes.
Abstract: Let $${\mathcal {S}}^*_s$$ be the class of normalized analytic functions f defined on the unit disk such that the quantity $$zf'(z)/f(z)$$ lies in an eight-shaped region in the right-half plane, which is the image of the unit disk under an entire function defined by $$\varphi (z)=1+\sin z$$ . For this class, we determine the $${\mathcal {S}}^*_s$$ -radii for the class of Janowski starlike functions and some other geometrically defined classes. A relation between this class and the class of Janowski starlike functions is also discussed.

TL;DR: In this paper, direct proofs of some common xed point results for two and three mappings under weak contractive condi- tions are given and some of these results are improved by using dier- ent arguments of control functions.
Abstract: In this paper direct proofs of some common xed point results for two and three mappings under weak contractive condi- tions are given. Some of these results are improved by using dier- ent arguments of control functions. Examples are presented show- ing that some generalizations can not be obtained and also that our results are distinct from the existing ones.

TL;DR: In this article, a method based on the Tau method with arbitrary bases is developed to find the numerical solution of Fredholm integro-differential equations; the differential part appearing in the equation is replaced by its operational Tau representation.
Abstract: In this paper, a method based on the Tau method with arbitrary bases is developed to find the numerical solution of Fredholm integro-differential equations; the differential part appearing in the equation is replaced by its operational Tau representation. Some numerical results are given to demonstrate the superior performance of the Tau method, particularly, with the Chebyshev and Legendre bases. 2002 Elsevier Science Inc. All rights reserved.

TL;DR: In this paper, sharp bounds for the Fekete-Szego coecient function associated with the k-th root transform (f(z k )) 1/k of analytic functions f(z) defined on the open unit disk in the complex plane are derived.
Abstract: Sharp bounds for the Fekete-Szego coecient func- tional associated with the k-th root transform (f(z k )) 1/k of nor- malized analytic functions f(z) defined on the open unit disk in the complex plane are derived. A similar problem is investigated for functions z/f(z) when f belongs to a certain class of functions.

Abstract: In the present paper, we introduce the concept of gen- eralized multivalued F -contraction mappings and give axed point result, which is a proper generalization of some multivaluedxed point theorems including Nadler's. Keywords: Fixed point, multivalued map, generalized F -contraction. MSC(2010): Primary: 54H25; Secondary: 47H10.
