TL;DR: Women entrepreneurshipﻷ can and should be guided by the values of fairness, clusiveness, andclusiveness.
Abstract: Women entrepreneurship can be the driving force to steer nations globally towards the achievement of economic and social development goals through job creation and poverty alleviation. However, financial literacy is an essential and intangible resource that is critical for growth, success, and sustained competitive advantage. Yet, lack of financial literacy is one of the key challenges affecting the business growth of women entrepreneurs. Hence, adopting a qualitative approach and data collected through the interview method from twenty-three women entrepreneurs selected through purposive sampling based on the criteria of an established business for five years with at least three employees, the study aimed at investigating the financial literacy imperative for the success of women entrepreneurship. Findings indicate that financial literacy greatly influences the success of women entrepreneurship and hence recommends group-based and focused training for women entrepreneurs through suitable programs to equip and enhance financial literacy among women entrepreneurs.

TL;DR: The objective is through a model proposal to support for the change management that allows managing the processes and associated impacts of change.
Abstract: The digital economy shows a great potential of growth, in the scope of the individuals and in transactions between companies. The internet is the great driving force behind this transition. Therefore, the impacts of change have on the economic environment of organizations can only be balanced when implementing good practices and control mechanisms, considering the critical factors for the success of implementation of change using methodologies versus technology versus resources. The control of digital change focuses on the constant need to adapt methodologies in the most varied application scenarios, and in its control in a structured way, namely a simple way to succinct this concept, so it is possible to affirm that the digital economy correlates directly with the constant need for change. Therefore, the objective is through a model proposal to support for the change management that allows managing the processes and associated impacts.

TL;DR: The technological developmentsﻵ describedﻴinﻷ termsﻹ descriptionsﻅ descriptions of the £1.3trn-worth of technologies developed over the past decade have been described.
Abstract: The technological developments described in terms of industrial revolutions or disruptive innovations have been shaping economic and social life in rural areas. The global trend towards urbanization presents a major challenge to rural communities. The aim of this article is to study how the peer-to-peer economy influences rural municipalities. On the one hand, in the literature, it is argued that sharing economy may improve accessibility, encourage mobility, attract investments and reduce urban bias. On the other hand, both academics and practitioners are aware of the disruptive effects of sharing economy on e.g., local real estate and labor markets. This qualitative study is based on empirical data from a municipality on the Lofoten Islands of Norway. The results demonstrate that Airbnb has some positive and some negative effects on rural development, but the magnitudes of these effects are modest. Of positive effects, the authors can mention increased local tourism, stimulation of conservation/restoration of traditional houses, and increased recreational mobility for rural residents. TL;DR: This articleresents the results of a study on co-creation of a public service innovation agency and its effects on trust and legitimacy.
Abstract: This article presents the analysis of the usage of open data and social media in the co-creation of public service innovation. The article concludes that using open data and social media in co-creation of public service innovation is a promising approach but not yet fully implemented. It seems clear that the advances in digital technology may provide a bridge for bringing service providers and service users together. The benefits are clear. First, the more accurate and real-time data available, the more effective the service provision will be. Second, the more citizen participation, the more tailored services can be co-created. Third, the more transparent governance becomes, the more legitimate and accountable it becomes. Fourth, governmental legitimacy increases societal trust which supports knowledge sharing and spurs innovation. However, co-creation of public service innovations can be more complex, more unpredictable, and more political than what the rhetoric indicates.

Abstract: The terms collaboration and startup ecosystem have become key elements within the discourse pertaining to open innovation processes in big corporations and startups alike. Even though the practice as well as the academic use of such terms to describe these forms of collaboration with startup ecosystems has increased over the last five years, little research has been done to precisely define their meaning and characteristics within the context of open innovation. The purpose of this paper is to investigate these terms, as well as to examine how they differ from related and often-interchanged concepts. By means of a systematic literature review, these definitions are derived, and a foundation for theoretical knowledge is provided. These definitions are expected to facilitate a consensus in the understanding and usage of these terms among academics and professionals.

TL;DR: The research on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and the alternate banking system, led by giants like Bitcoin and Ethereum, and its potential utility for the millions of migrants living in working around the globe are analyzed.
Abstract: This article analyzes the research on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and the alternate banking system, led by giants like Bitcoin and Ethereum, and its potential utility for the millions of migrants living in working around the globe, who send nearly half a trillion dollars through various formal and informal channels to family and friends in their home countries. While research on migrant remittances is well established and has been examined from many different lenses, including economic, political, financial, sociological and entrepreneurial, there are few studies to date that examine how the growing crypto-blockchain channel can impact remittance flows, as a lower cost alternative to MoneyGram and Western Union, which have high transaction costs, and also considering that many migrants do not have formal bank accounts, eliminating formal bank transfers, and also that many migrants hold a vulnerable legal status, and may avoid formal money transfer channels. This article is exploratory in nature and identifies the work that has been done to date on this topic, and identifies potential future research in the area.

TL;DR: Japan is pioneering the widespread introduction of robotics into many areas of society to compensate for the population fall and to become a global leader in artificial intelligence alongside the United States and China.
Abstract: Japan is experiencing a large population decline. The current population of 127 million will, at current estimates, drop by one-third to 88 million by 2065. At the same time, the population is ageing greatly with 28% aged 65 or over, a world record. Japan is pioneering the widespread introduction of robotics into many areas of society to compensate for the population fall. It aims to replace humans in many sectors like manufacturing and food processing. It also plans to introduce service robots that work closely with human beings in settings like care homes and hospitals. It is the largest such program of its kind globally. The ultimate success of this program depends on creating truly autonomous robots and will require Japan to become a global leader in artificial intelligence alongside the United States and China.

TL;DR: The research shows that information of high information quality (IQ) reduces the level of task complexity, and influences—as well as is influenced by—situation awareness.
Abstract: Performing tasks under task complexity (TC), for example, during the management of a crisis, can be challenging. One relevant research stream has so far dealt with modelling task complexity while another research stream has established the importance of situation awareness (SA) during crisis management. This study takes into consideration these two research streams and builds a model on how SA is achieved under task complexity. The research shows that information of high information quality (IQ) reduces the level of task complexity, and influences—as well as is influenced by—situation awareness. The practice of collecting and disseminating relevant and timely information as a critical resource in improving SA should be carried out continuously. This continuous process can be improved by using information technologies as automating tools. Moreover, the study shows how shared mental models can improve SA under task complexity. A case study approach, based on qualitative data focusing on theory building, is applied. Unit of analysis is a Norwegian hospital.

TL;DR: A new model for selecting the scripts of Taiwanese dramas based on the production manager's perceptions is developed, indicating that important criteria are characteristics of the story, the subject matter of the script, the meaning of the words, and the scriptwriter.
Abstract: The script of a drama is key to achieving an outstanding performance. This study develops a new model for selecting the scripts of Taiwanese dramas based on the production manager's perceptions. First, the proposed model adopts the modified delphi method to determine suitable evaluative criteria for the scripts of contemporary Taiwanese dramas. Next, the model applies the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to determine the relative weights of evaluative criteria, thereafter rating the alternatives and selecting the best script. Additionally, a Taiwanese company is used how the scripts of Taiwanese dramas can be selected using this model. The results indicate that important criteria, in order of important, are characteristics of the story, the subject matter of the script, the meaning of the words, and the scriptwriter. The proposed model helps companies to effectively select the scripts of Taiwanese dramas, making it highly applicable for academia and commerce.
