Abstract: To study the chemical constituents of Celosia cristata Solvent extraction,silica gel column chromatography,Sephadex LH-20 and recrystallization were used for the isolation and purification of the constituents. The structures of the extracts were identified on the basis of spectral analysis,such as UV,IR,1H-NMR,13C-NMR and MS. Results showed: From the EtOH extract of Celosia cristata,6 compounds were isolated and identified as 4-hydroxyphenethyl alcohol(1),kaempferol(2),quercetin(3),β-sitosterol(4),2-hydrox-yoctadecanoic acid (5),stigmasterol(6). 1,4—6 compounds are isolated from Celosia cristata for the first time.

Abstract: The pentaploid interspecific hybrids WBT1,WBT2 and WBT3 were obtained respectively from the cross combinations Hokowase(8x)×F.vesca(2x),Honeoye(8x)×F.vesca(2x)and Honeoye(8x)×F.nilgerrensis(2x).The botanical and fruit trait,and pollen size and viability of the three pentaploid interspecific hybrids were observed.The hexaploid,heptaploid,nonuploid seedlings were obtained from the backcross of the pentaploid interspecific hybrids with cultivars Honeoye and Allstar.The origins of the seedlings with various ploidy were postulated.These different ploidy hybrids integrated wild strawberry genes have further potential for hybridization utilization to improve modern strawberry cultivars.

TL;DR: Limonene had better antimicrobial ability to Saccharomyces cerevisiae,Saccharomycles sp.and Aspergillus niger than potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate.
Abstract: The antimicrobial activity of limonene was determined by minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) and inhibitory circle.The results showed that MIC to Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Saccharomyces sp.was 320 mg/L.However, it didn′t show obvious antimicrobial effect on Staphylococcus aureus.Its antimicrobial ability was stable in pH value between 4 and 9.It was also stable when heated at 80℃.However,the antimicrobial ability to Saccharomyces sp.and Escherichia coil decreased when heated at 100℃.And it decreased when heated at 121℃.The results of inhibitory circle showed that limonene had better antimicrobial ability to Saccharomyces cerevisiae,Saccharomyces sp.and Aspergillus niger than potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate.

Abstract: This paper reports the preliminary evaluation of the nutritive value of commonly used feeds for roe deer,using the nylon bag technique.The outflow rate(kp)from rumen was measured for 2 grain degree of 4 kinds of representative feeds.The 8 kinds of commonly used feeds were analyzed for their dry matter(DMD), protein(CPD)and organic matter(OMD)degradability in the rumen of roe deer.The results show that: The outflow rate from rumen of different feeds and different grain degrees of feeds is different.The outflow rate from rumen of the similar character and similar grain of different feeds is similar.The bigger the grain,the slower the outflow rate from rumen of the same feed.The outflow rate from rumen of bean cake,corn,oak leaf,corn silage is 3.40,2.68,2.25,2.18%/h respectively.The degradability of the cereal and nice herbages in the rumen of roe deer is higher than fodders.It shows that roe deer cannot fully utilize fodders.So the quantity of fodders should be limited in practice.The DMD of corn,bean cake,alfalfa,corn silage,jerusalem artichoke leaf,sorghum,oak leaf and melilot is 62.15%,58.21%,57.22%,26.29%,54.23%,61.98%,40.75%,55.89% respectively,the CPD is 67.28%,68.24%,66.15%,34.23%,65.23%,40.09%,37.13%,54.47% respectively,the OMD is 70.01%,70.14%,66.49%,34.47%,67.57%,58.53%,40.41%,57.55% respectively.

Abstract: Effects of different shading treatments on chlorophyll and protective enzyme activities of Sabina davurica(Pall.)Ant.were studied.The results showed that with the strengthening of shading treatment,the content of chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b and chlorophyll a+b increased;SOD activity decreased;POD activity showed a first increasing and then falling tendency,and it was obviously higher than check;the content of MDA was obviously lower than check.

Abstract: This study investigated the influence of temperature,illumination and N/P on the growth of Microcystis aeruginosa in pure cultivatable system.The results indicated that the growth of the Microcystis aeruginosa in 28℃ was better,and cell density reached the maximum.In this research,the growth of the Microcystis aeruginosa in 3 000 lx was better,and cell density reached the maximum. The growth of the Microcystis aeruginosa was better when TN/TP reached 15∶1.

Abstract: Using artificial inoculation and field identification, resistance of soybean varieties to soybean pod borer,soybean aphid and Sclerotinia stem rot was identified.Among 92 varieties,6 HR,16 R,36 MR and 34 S were identified to resist soybean pod borer.Among 112 varieties,1 HR,12 R,17 MR,57 S and 25 HS were identified to resist Sclerotinia stem rot.Among 34 varieties,12 MR and 22 S were identified to resist soybean aphid.6 multi-resistant high-yield soybean varieties resisting 2 insect pests,1 disease and lodging were comprehensively screened.

Abstract: Using tolerant and intolerant maize inbred lines as experiment materials and adopting different potassium concentration to seedling culture to analyze protection enzyme(SOD,POD,CAT) activity,the relation between content of AsA,Pro and MDA was analyzed.The results indicated that tolerant maize inbred lines could keep a lower MAD content regardless of high or low potassium concentration and had some relation with non-enzyme antioxidant ASA and increase of osmotic adjustment substance.CAT activity increased under high potassium concentration(3.125 mmol/L) and SOD activity increased under moderate potassium concentration(2.5 mmol/L) compared with intolerant maize inbred lines.

Abstract: The complete genome of mink enteritis virus(MEV) was amplified using polymerase chain reaction(PCR) method and cloned.The DNA fragment was sequenced and compared with reference mink enteritis virus.The results showed that the NS1 gene was 2 007 bp length encoding 668 amino acids.The VP2 gene was 1 755 bp length encoding 584 amino acids.The NS1 gene between MEV B strain and other parvovirus strains showed 98.8%—99.2% and 98.8%—99.2% identities at nucleotide and amino acid levels respectively.The VP2 genes showed 98.5%—99.8% and 97.8%—99.5% homologies at nucleotide and amino acid levels respectively.The genetic relationship of MEV B strain with MEV antigenic type 2 strain was the closest.

Abstract: To further separate 85% ethanol extract of Pericarpium Garciniae Mangostanae,5 xanthones were isolated by chromatography and identified as isonormangostin(Ⅰ),garcinone E(Ⅱ),7-O-methylgarcinone E(Ⅲ),1,6-dihydroxy-7-methoxy-8-(3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyl)-6′,6′-dimethyl-4′,5′-dihydropyrano[2′,3′:3,2]xanthone(Ⅳ),3-isomangostin(Ⅴ). Compounds Ⅱ and Ⅳ were isolated from the plant for the first time.

Abstract: White spotted flower chafer (Coleoptera: Scarabeidae: Cetoniinae) (WSFC),Protaetia brevitarsis,feeding on developing corn ears causes losses in quality and quantity in China Considering these losses and the pollution by excessive chemical pesticides use,it is important to find novel measures for controlling this serious pest Therefore,sweet corn (Jitian 6) was deployed as trapping crop in the common corn field against WSFC Phoxim insecticide (40%,15 mL) was sprayed on developing sweet corn ear approximately in 14 days interval to reduce the damaging beetle population The result suggested that the sweet corn is an appropriate trapping crop for common corn against WSFC,and can reduce the damage value after insecticide application

Abstract: The activities of acetylcholinesterase (AChE),carboxylesterase (α-NACarE),glutathione S-transferase (GSTs) and peroxidase (POD) of Sitophihus zeamais contacted with a series of concentration of essential oil (1%,5%,10%,15%,20%) extracted from Artemisia annua L were measured at 2,4,8,12,24 h Compared with the control group,the AChE activities of all treatment groups significantly decreased at 2 h When reaching 4 h,the activities of 5% treatment group to 20% treatment group were recovered The α-NACarE activities of all treatment groups decreased within 2,4,8,12 h until the activities gradually recovered at 24 h The GSTs activities of all treatment groups reduced at 2 h and resumed after 4 h The POD activities of all treatment groups significantly decreased at 2 h,the activities of 5% treatment group to 20% treatment group were in the recovery after 4 h,after 8 h,the activity of 1% treatment group was significantly higher than the control group The results showed that in the early stage when contacting with the essential oil of A annua,the detoxification enzyme activities of S zeamais were inhibited Along with the resistance of the body,detoxification enzyme activities restored It reflected that the S zeamais had detoxification mechanism on the essential oil of A annua,but with the increase of concentration of essential oil,the activities of detoxification enzymes became worse This study helps to understand the insecticide mechanisms of essential oil

Abstract: The Object-Oriented analysis and design approach based on Unified Modeling Language (UML) for planting farm produce safety authentication system architecture is put forward,by which logical architecture described by class diagrams and behavior diagrams can be developed through Object-Oriented analysis,and physical architecture described by component diagrams and deployment diagrams can be developed through Object-Oriented design. The method from UML artifact mapping to CPN is used to evaluate the logical,behavioral and performance of architecture by arithmetical analysis and simulation so that the system architecture can be optimized.

Abstract: Leaf,scape and bud of Streptocarpus wendlanddii were used as explants in this study.Based on MS medium,the appropriate approach and sterilization time of tissue culture and rapid propagation of Streptocarpus wendlanddii were obtained via regulating the concentrations of cytokinin and auxin.The results showed that when the explants were sterilized in 1 g/L mercuric chloride,the optimum sterilization time for leaf was 4—5 minutes,while bud was 4 minutes.When the explants were sterilized with 84 disinfectant liquid,the suitable time for scape and bud was 5 minutes.The optimal medium for callus induction was MS+BA 1.0 mg/L+NAA 1.0 mg/L;the optimal medium for bud differentiation was MS+BA 4.0 mg/L+NAA 0.2 mg/L;the optimal medium for root differentiation was MS+BA 1.0 mg/L+NAA 1.0 mg/L;the optimal medium for subculture was MS+BA 1.0 mg/L+KT 0.5 mg/L.

Abstract: A combination forecasting model was applied to forecast fertilizing amount for corn to improve the precision of the prediction.In order to achieve the least sum of square error,the weight of fertilizer effect function method and neural network forecasting model in combination forecasting model was objectively calculated with Lagrange multiplier method,and a combination forecasting model for corn fertilizing amount was constructed.The results show that the error sum of squares of fertilizer effect function method,neural network forecasting model and combination forecasting model is 2 789.40,653.79 and 421.72,respectively.The result accounts for the fact that combination forecasting model is superior to single forecasting methods,and adopting combination forecasting model in corn fertilization can obviously improve forecasting accuracy.

Abstract: The effect of ginsenoside Rb1 on mushroom tyrosinase in vitro was studied through the testing of mushroom tyrosinase activity in vitro,and the effect of ginsenoside Rb1 on B16 Melanoma cells was studied through the determination of cell proliferation rate. The results show that the inhibition rate of samples for different concentrations of Rb1 to mushroom tyrosinase in vitro is significantly lower than arbutin (P 0.1),and the inhibition rate is between ±5%,indicating that ginsenoside Rb1 has no apparent effect on mushroom tyrosinase activity in vitro. The effect of ginsenoside Rb1 on proliferation of B16 melanoma cells varies with the concentration. When it is 125 μg/mL,it has promotion effect on B16 cell proliferation. When the concentration is125 μg/mL,it has inhibition effect on B16 cell proliferation.

Abstract: Agricultural machinery represents modern method and modern condition of production,and agricutural mechanization is the key basis and symbol of modern agriculture. Based on analyses of level of agricultural mechanization development in Guangdong province from 1988 to 2008,production function was developed to estimate the effects of agricultural mechanization on agricultural production. The results indicated that the contribution of agricultural mechanization to production continued to increase. When agricultural mechanization increased by 1%,grain production increased by 0.35%. Therefore,government should encourage development of agricultural mechanization in order to improve agricultural production in Guangdong province.

Abstract: Hairy roots of Panax quinquefolium L.were induced from the root explants of two-year old Panax quinquefolium L.by Agrobacterium rhizogenes A4 with direct inoculation,the cultured clones of the hairy roots were established on solid 1/2 MS and MS mediums.After several times of subcultures,the hairy roots still maintained vigorous growth.After the determination of UV-spectrophotometry,the total ginsenosides content in the hairy root came up to 3.88%.The suitable culture conditions for Panax quinquefolium L.hairy roots growing were 1/2 B5 liquid medium(15 g/L glucose),in a shaker at 100 r/min,changing the culture solution and subculturing the hairy roots every 4 weeks.

Abstract: The polymorphism of AR gene 5'UTR in bulls was detected by PCR-SSCP.The sequencing results indicated that there was one single nucleotide mutation(T to G)in the 5'UTR-1575 of the AR gene;The genetic correlations were between genotypes and performances were obtained by the least square analysis,and the results showed that genetic polymorphisms significantly correlated with sperm count performance.And AA genotype was higher than AB genotype(P=0.025).Other traits were not significantly affected.The research laid the foundation for the future studies of the biological function of AR gene in bulls and theoretical basis for breeding of meat bulls.

Abstract: Effect of six kinds of metallic cations on conidia germination and colony growth of Cylindrocarpon destructans(Zinss)Scholten were studied. The result showed that Fe2+,Mn2+,Mg2+,Ca2+,Cu2+and Zn2+ at the different concentration inhibited conidia germination respectively. When concentration is 0.5 μg/mL,the conidia can not germinate. Fe2+,Mn2+,Cu2+ and Zn2+ at the different concentration inhibited colony growth,and the effect became stronger with the increase of concentration.

Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency of sludge decomposition andreduce the cost of sludge reduction in-situ,the influencing factors of sludge ozonation were investigated focused on the ozone dosage,pH value and initial sludge concentration. The results show that the threshold of decomposition of ozone dosage is 40 mg/g above which the particulate of sludge begin to dissolve. With the increase of ozone consumption,the decomposition of sludge becomes more and more obvious. Neutral condition or meta-acid is good for sludge disruption and the similar phenomenon is observed when initial sludge concentration turns thicker. The optimal ozone dosage is 208 mg/g,pH value is 6 and initial sludge concentration is 19 629 mg/L.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to test the dynamics of nutriments in different developmental periods of locust.By using Kjeldahl determination and atomic absorption spectrometry,we compared and analysed the dynamics of locust protein and five kinds of microelements.The results were as follows: 1 the content of protein was the highest in the 1st larva(87.6 mg/100mg) and decreased until the 4th larva with the development,furthermore,the content of protein in adults increased again(71.6—79.3 mg/100mg);2 in five kinds of microelements in every developmental period of Locusta migratoria manilensis Meyen,the content of Fe,Ca and Zn was the highest in the 1st larva and decreased with larva development while increasing again in adults and the content of Fe,Ca and Zn elements in female adults was higher than that of male adults;the content of Mg and Cu element showed periodical fluctuation in larva development and had difference between female and male.The dynamics of the content of protein suggested that the nutrition might be very important in accumulation and supply for development and physiological function of material and energy from larva to adult in Locusta migratoria manilensis Meyen,meanwhile the dynamics of microelements showed that those elements should play crucial roles and significant differences exist in development and metabolism.

Abstract: The characterization of DNase Ⅱ from Trichinella spiralis(T. spiralis) was identified by expression of a full length DNase Ⅱ cDNA termed T31D4-N5 from NBL DNase Ⅱ family,the nucleic acid enzymatic activity and optimal enzyme activity conditions of its fusion protein were identified.The critical activity site of active amino acids of the enzyme was predicted and verified by sequence analysis and point mutations technology.The result indicated the optimal pH of it was pH 5.0 and the enzyme activity still remained at pH 7.0 even 8.0.The critical activity site of active amino acids of the enzyme was predicted by the sequence alignments with software Maga 2,total 94 available DNase Ⅱ sequences from 38 bio-species,a high conserved histidine was found in N-terminal of all available DNase Ⅱs,which was different from previous reported sites which were not histidine(H), but serine(S) or lysine(K) in T.spiralis DNase Ⅱ amino acid sequence,this predicted site was also confirmed by point mutation.Concerning the unique characteristics of T.spiralis DNase Ⅱ,it is most probably a new type DNase Ⅱ.

Abstract: Under indoor artificial culture conditions,the spore sprouting of CC1 had a phenological period,the regularity of spore producing was the same as that in nature,and the growth of mycelia had no change with the seasons. A series of tests showed that the optimum culture temperature is 25℃,the optimum pH is 5—6,the optimum carbon source and nitrogen source are respectively glucose and peptone; the optimum culture medium recipe: patato 200 g,sucrose 20 g,yeast 2 g,peptone 2 g MgSO4 0.5 g,KH2PO4 3 g,agar 20 g,VB1 100 mg and water 1 000 mL. Classification and physiological characteristics of the strain Cytospora chrysosperma CC1 were studied. rDNA ITS sequence length of the strain X is 907 bp and GenBank Accession is EF101159. The strain CC1 is indeed Cytospora chrysosperma from the perspective of molecular biology.
