Abstract: portuguesNo âmbito da Teoria das Organizacoes, este trabalho tem como objetivo discutir de que forma o fenomeno da empresarizacao das organizacoes esta relacionado a estruturacao organizacional de igrejas evangelicas pertencentes ao protestantismo historico, pentecostal e neopentecostal em Santa Catarina. Descrevem-se os elementos que caracterizam o fenomeno de empresarizacao nessas igrejas e os seus processos de estruturacao organizacional nos ultimos dez anos. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo multicaso, cuja coleta de dados foi feita a partir da observacao direta, de entrevistas e da analise documental. Os dados primarios foram tratados mediante analise de conteudo e os dados secundarios, por meio da analise documental. Evidencia-se que o processo de empresarizacao se desenvolveu pontualmente em diferentes estagios e intensidades dentro de cada igreja investigada. Todas as tres organizacoes apresentaram indicios de adequacao aos parâmetros empresariais considerados neste trabalho. Abstract: Within the scope of the Theory of Organizations, this paper has as its objective the discussion in which form the phenomenon of commercialization of organizations is related to the organizational structuring of evangelical churches historically belonging to the Protestant, Pentecostal and Neo-Pentecostal religions in Santa Catarina. The elements that characterize the phenomenon of commercialization of these churches are described and their processes of organizational structuring in the last ten years. It is a multi-case qualitative study whose gathering of facts was done by means of direct observation, interviewing and through analysis of documents. Abstract: This theoretical and empirical study aims to understand the culture as an element of control in the implementation of a programme of excellence in quality, safety, environmental and occupational health (QSMS) Based on a case study of a large Brazilian company, the authors identified points in organizational culture that limited the implementation of the programme The concept of habitus, Pierre Bourdieu, helps us understand the culture not only as the state of mind, but also as a state body, which was in-corporated through daily practice The concept of administrative fact, Guerreiro Ramos (1983), is also central to the analysis, since it identifies the rationality in which closes the speech of the subject The methodology based on semiotics and analysis of speech has to understand the logical assumptions that gave basis for the action of individuals and structured their perception of reality This approach also allowed us to conclude that the cultural dynamics and logic of force would need to be affected in order to broaden the perspective on the real from the subjects and, in fact, implement the program

Abstract: It presents a didactic methodology of modeling and simulation business, which includes activities of understanding organizational problems, construction of causal models and simulation models, using the simulation software business SIMADM Through this methodology for determining the content taught in the classroom and/or distance disciplines in the course of administration, it is intended to encourage the pursuit of system thinking by the students and teachers, providing not only a simulation, but a dynamic to build the knowledge that enables the understanding of the interrelationship determinant in the behavior of systems and how decisions in specific parts of the system impact elsewhere, in time and space So it is moving toward a pedagogical practice based on self-directed education in which students can not only assimilate concepts, but interact with them, in a experimentation exercise based on the construction of simulation models for a "reality" characterized by the complex dynamics

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to identify the representations of brazilian culture and the terms of the gifting in a exchange club occurred at “II Feira Baiana da Economia Solidaria”. The analytical start point was built on Goudbout's concepts of gifting, DaMatta's particularities “casa e rua” (“home and street”) and Barbosa's studies of “jeitinho” (“brazilian way”). These cultural expressions were observed in the place of exchange, with some differences in the practices of gifting, caused especially by use of social money. It seems to exist a correlation among all these phenomena, especially when the subject is brazilian culture. The gifting tends to not emerge spontaneously in such context, but can be released by specific mechanisms. When it occurs, however, the gifting tends to be accompanied by the "brazilian way", because this is as a typical expression of this national culture.

Abstract: This paper’s object is to think about the scientific research rigidity understanding concerning to the its truthfulness and validity over the obtained results, going beyond the data precision Its importance can be seen through the possibility of the productive sharing of its procedures and results It uses the inductive method, with data collection and treatment techniques through direct and intensive observation, and semi-structured questionnaires, with scales to measure attitudes The data analysis procedures, for patterned and structured matters, happens through the strategy of the statistical technique of the SPSS (Statistic Package for Social Science), utilizing standard deviation and frequency of distribution For the analysis of the contents, a survey of the theject is tomes was held through the qualitative techniques of Idea Mapping and statistical analysis of the text, for qualitative and follow-up issues, by the ALCESTE, as well as the application of a non-parametric statistical test, named Wilcoxon signed-rank test, allowing us to compare the existing intervention before and after the accomplishment of the Program The data results are shown by tables, charts and graphics, using the Excel software and the SPSS and ALCESTE platforms The researh estrategy was built through a study of case of LSDP (Leadership and Social Development Program) It was concluded that exist an effective contribution to he knowledge, description and explanation of phenomenas when the technical utilization is complemental, which shows situations that were not put in the reality because they are in the individual and groups extent, being results influencers

Abstract: The not governmental organizations - NGOs comes each time more if expanding and assumeing an excellent role in the society contemporary. Thus, the growth of these organizations brings some challenges, amongst these, is distinguished it necessity to adopt practical and procedures of management that they aim at to attract, to develop and to hold back competent and mobilized professionals, with ends to get resulted effective in its action, over all in a context of intense competition for financial resources. On the other hand, one questions which are the expectations and motivations of the people who search this field of work. The present work has for objective to investigate if the NGOs if constitutes a space of professional investment, breaking itself of the theoretical analysis in the perspective of the organizations and the individual motivations of its collaborators, in which if concepts on ingression, permanence and evasion of people in these organizations they join. This research if characterizes as explorer and descriptive, by means of study of multiple case, and used the application of interviews and half-structuralized questionnaires, applied next to the managers and three collaborators of the NGOs greaters of the State of the Ceara. The information had been treated quantitatively and qualitatively. The research allowed to evidence that the studied organizations attribute importance to the management of people, however does not adopt practical structuralized whom they aim at to promote the permanence of its collaborators, perceiving itself that the ingression and permanence of these collaborators if give from the desire of if enabling professionally, to find in these organizations a space of identification with the social causes who defend/believe and for the environment of work (organizacional climate) proportionate.

Abstract: Considering the conceptual framework of the agency theory, this article had a double purpose. Firstly, verify the presence of potential agency conflicts between the headquarter and a sample of 118 subsidiary of foreign multinationals installed in Brazil. The control variables of potential agency conflicts are: communication degree of the subsidiary with the headquarter and autonomy degree of the subsidiary regarding the headquarter. In second place, verify if the subsidiaries that presented potential agency conflicts have a worse financial and strategic performance than the ones that do not presented such conflicts. After cluster analysis procedure, discriminant analysis and Anova, the results showed that regarding the financial performance, the subsidiaries that presented potential agency conflicts have worst performance regarding the sales growth. Regarding the strategic performance, it was verified that the subsidiaries with potential agency conflicts have a worst performance regarding competences and accomplishment development of the goals along years of its operations.

Abstract: Corporate risk management became an important academic subject during the last years The goal of this research was to evaluate the level of adherence of Brasil Telecom's corporate risk management model to the recommendations proposed by the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (Instituto Brasileiro de Governanca Corporativa - IBGC) For that, a theoretical review and an empirical research were done through descriptive case studies Internal and public documents were collected, and questionnaires were applied to corporate risk managers The analysis used five items and ten sub items based on the recommendations of the document "Orientation Guide to Corporate Risk Management" (IBGC, 2007) The items were: "Strategic Goals and Risk Profile", "Risk Classification", "Risk Measurement and Handling", "Governance of Risk Management", and "Information, Communication, and Qualification" Based on the research data, the adherence of the current risk management model to the IBGC recommendations was observed
