TL;DR: In this article, the impact of institutions on innovation efficiency of the regional innovation systems is analyzed based on the method of DEA, and empirical results show that there is not relationship between the innovation efficiency and innovation capacity.
Abstract: Based on the method of DEA, this paper analyses the impact of institutions on innovation efficiency of the regional innovation systems. Our empirical results show that there is not relationship between the innovation efficiency and innovation capacity. There are few regions that are decreasing returns to scale. Though it is important to increase innovative inputs, we should pay our attention to improve the innovating efficiency of regional innovation system.

Abstract: The process of knowledge diffusion is influenced by learning capacity of knowledge receptors, reputation of knowledge disseminator, conditions of communication between members, etc. This process can be simulated in multi-agent model by transforming these factors that influence knowledge diffusion into controllable variables based on general hypothesis of knowledge diffusion. And based on an simple multi-agent model, this article analyses how density of agents, knowledge diffusion range of a single agent and different distributing of agents at the same density influence the process of knowledge diffusion and the sensitive dependence that knowledge diffusion is on density of agents and knowledge diffusion range of a single agent.

Abstract: Based on two databases, Tsinghua Tongfang's CJFD (title) and China Patent Information Database, this paper has shown the distributions of China's nanotechnology papers and patents by topic, which draw the outline of the nanotechnology field where Chinese scientists have been exploring over the past decade. The hot topics and weaknesses of Chinese nanotechnology study are analyzed. The method we used is frequency analysis of keywo rds. The definition of nanotechnology research in this study is derived from 79 keyw ords provided by the National Research Council of Canada.

Abstract: After fully reviewing and summarizing the course of bibliometrics in China, the author points out that the development of Chinese bibliometrics can be divided into three steps, which is the beginning phase, initial development phase and all-around development phase. Then, the status quo has been estimated primarily and analyzed completely, we think that we have made important progress in seven sides. At last, the trend and prospect have been discussed from six aspects, and we think it has optimistic future.

Abstract: With concept of the knowledge network, this paper first step to investigate analyzes the RD spillovers between on China and the United States. The result discoves: (1)the delay time of RD spillovers of China or USA is obviously different, China's spillover time has a peak at 1 year, but the spillover time of USA has two peak, at t=0 year and t=4 year; (2)China respond time for USA RD invention spillover about is 4 years. (3)RD spillover showing economic cooperation between China and USA has the positive meaning. (4)South Countries will obtain more economic advantage than North Countries.

Abstract: This paper takes nearly eight hundred enterprises in Xi'an as subject investigated, applies structural equation modeling, and takes empirical analysis on the relationship between enterprise scale and input-intensity of RD. The results show: the enterprise scale is "∩-style" related with the input-intensity of RD, when enterprise scale is less, it is positive related with input-intensity of RD; when enterprise scale is greater, it is negative related with input-intensity of RD. The results of empirical analysis show at the same time: It has the positive effect on the input-intensity of RD that the enterprise had been commented for high and new-technology enterprise; the enterprise manager's talent can be helpful for increase the possibility of enterprise enter high new technical ranks, and then promote the input-intensity of RD.

Abstract: This research examines the correlations between "k inds of technology innovation" and "methods of knowledge management", and tak es "the performance of new product RD" to measure them. Empirical findings su ggest that the concept of kind of technology innovation depend on the "Compone nt Knowledge" and "Architectural Knowledge" enhanced or destroyed. Technology innovation therefore gets four kinds: incremental, architectural, modular and r adical. On the other hand, concept of method of knowledge management is develope d, which depends on "the environment for sharing knowledge" formal or informal and "the source of knowledge" from inside the firm or outside. Knowledge mana gement therefore gets four kinds: database, space for communication, network and real time communication. This paper further studies and tests firms in manufact uring industry in Taiwan, and concludes that every kind of technology innovation prefers its own method of knowledge management to get better performance of new product RD.
