Abstract: Two methods for drip irrigation scheduling for cash crop cultivation in greenhouses and small-scale farmlands are presented in this paper. Method 1 is installing a tensiometer at the depth of 20cm immediately under an emitter. Irrigation starts when soil water potential is out of the desired range while the irrigation quantity per irrigation times is the same during crop growing seasons or the irrigation quantity per irrigation times for every growing stage of crops are the same. For most crops, the desired range of soil water potential is set as -25 to -35kPa and the irrigation quantity is set as 5mm per irrigation times will produce good yields. Method 2 is installing a 20cm standard evaporating dish on the top of crops. When the irrigation frequency is determined, irrigation quantity of next irrigation cycle can be determined to be equal to the value of pen evaporation of this cycle multiple correlation coefficient. For most crop in greenhouses, good yields will be get as long as the coefficient is set to 1,and the irrigation frequency is set as each one day one times, each two days one times or each three days one times.

Abstract: In order to avoid the effect of subjectivity on the water quality assessment with analytical AHP,a new assessment method is proposed combining AHP with fuzzy comprehensive evaluation(FCE).In the method,the weights of various evaluation indices are determined by AHP and water quality is assessed by FCE.A study is made on the water quality deterioration of Shitoukoumen Reservoir in terms of contamination markers.According to the monitoring data at four different sites during 2001 to 2007 year,9 water quality main assessment factors for Shitoukoumen Reservoir,such as total nitrogen,total phosphorous,dissolved oxygen,chemical oxygen demand,and so on,were evaluated through applying the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.The evaluation results show that the water quality of Shitoukoumen reservoir,Yinma River and Chalu River belongs to class 3,the quality of Shuangyang River belongs to class 5.Application of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for the water quality assessment is reasonable.It will provide critical information for the formulating treatment plans of Shitoukoumen catchment and ensuring the safety of drinking water.

Abstract: In the extremely arid inland irrigation district of Xinjiang,where the annual precipitation is 50~250mm,the annual transpiration amount reaches 1 500~2 500 mm and the arid index is bigger than 7,the agricultural irrigation water resources is extremely importantly.Simultaneously,the effective utilization of rainfall resources cannot be ignored.Based on several testing methods for effective rainfall,the use efficiency of effective rainfall of one rainfall process is tested and analyzed,by means of the mode of point combined with sphere,the experience parameter of effective rainfall use efficiency is obtained to supply base for the utilization of rainfall resources in irrigation district.

Abstract: As an emerging international mathematical modeling method,wavelet neural network(WNN) fully inherits many advantages,such as excellent time-frequency localization property of wavelet transform and self-learning function and strong ability nonlinear of neural network.In this paper,BP network is selected to be the neural network,the Morlet wavelet is chosen to be the hidden excitation function of precipitation prediction model,the MATLAB is used to write WNN prediction program,and then the model is trained and tested by using the precipitation information from 1957 to 2010 of the three hydrometric stations of Western Jilin province,including Baicheng,Changling,Qianguo,to forecast their precipitation of next decade.The research results show that the WNN prediction model is of high accuracy,simple structure,fast convergence rate and high practical value,while the prediction accuracy for specific value of precipitation needs further improvement.In addition,Western Jilin province will be in wet stage of the precipitation variation during next decade,so related departments should make preparations according to the actual situation.
