In this paper, the algebraic structure of fractional factorial (FF) designs with minimum aberration is explored and an algorithm for constructing complete sets of FF designs is proposed.Abstract:
Summary Fractional factorial (FF) designs with minimum aberration are often regarded as the best designs and are commonly used in practice. There are, however, situations in which other designs can meet practical needs better. A catalogue of designs would make it easy to search for 'best' designs according to various criteria. By exploring the algebraic structure of the FF designs, we propose an algorithm for constructing complete sets of FF designs. A collection of FF designs with 16, 27, 32 and 64 runs is given.read more

Optimal blocking and semifoldover plans for 2n−p designs
TL;DR: In this article, the semi-over designs when initial designs are blocked regular designs were investigated and the properties and the structures of the semidefinite blocks were investigated for 16 and 32 run designs.
Minimum Aberration Blocking Schemes for Two-Level and Three-Level Fractional Factorial Designs
Hongquan Xu,Sovia Lau +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the concept of minimum aberration has been extended to choose blocked fractional factorial designs (FFDs) and a method is then proposed for constructing minimum-aberration blocked FFDs without using defining contrast subgroups and alias sets.

A canonical form for non-regular arrays based on generalized word length pattern values of delete-one-factor projections
TL;DR: It is shown that the delete-one-factor projection GWLP method can be adopted to reduce both regular and non-regular orthogonal arrays to canonical form, and the new canonical form is used in an existing framework to generate minimal complete sets of non-symmetricnon-regular arrays.
