TL;DR: In this article, a novel SO3H-dendrimer functionalized magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4@D NH (CH2)4 SO 3H) were prepared and characterized by using FT-IR, X-ray diffraction patterns, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscope, thermogravimetry analysis, and energy-dispersive Xray spectroscopy, which was successfully applied to the synthesis of highly substituted pyrans and polyhydroquinolines via a straightforward one-pot multicomponent condensation reaction.

TL;DR: A simple, straightforward, and highly efficient multicomponent one-pot synthesis of a pharmaceutically interesting diverse kind of functionalized 2-amino-3-cyano-4H-pyrans and pyran-annulated heterocycles has been developed based on a low-cost and environmentally benign commercially available urea as a novel organo-catalyst as mentioned in this paper.
