In this paper, a catalog of 442 Bernoulli sampling plans which approximately minimize the maximum expected sample size among all plans which guarantee certain O.C.N. probability requirements is presented.
Abstract
: The author, in his masters thesis, constructed a catalog of 442 Bernoulli sampling plans which approximately minimize the maximum expected sample size among all plans which guarantee certain O.C. probability requirements. Fifty-two of these plans (which would appear to be of greatest practical interest) are presented in this report. A.S.N. curve comparisons are made with plans based on the Wald sequential probability ratio test and the fixed sample size test which guarantee the same O.C. probability requirements.

Some sequential tests reducing the maximum expected sample size

TL;DR: In this article, a hypothesis test is converted into a sequential test on a Bernoulli parameter, and the test on the parameter is carried out using a procedure which approximately minimizes the maximum expected sample size.

Sampling Plans Which Approximately Minimize the Maximum Expected Sample Size

TL;DR: In this article, a sampling plan is constructed which approximately minimizes the maximum expected sample size among all plans satisfying the conditions Pθ (plan will accept the population) ≥ 1− α if θ ≤ θ−1 P(θ) ≤ β ≤ β if β ≥ θ≥θ1.
