TLDR
In this paper, both the decomposition and the formation of CaCl2·8NH3 can be carried out effectively as a slurry or suspension in an inert solvent and the reaction rates are increased by an order of magnitude over use of a packed bed and the reactions appear to be essentially stoichiometric.

Transformation analysis of thermochemical reactor based on thermophysical properties of graphite-MnCl2 complex

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the thermochemical transformation of graphite−MnCl2 complex/ammonia system through numerical simulation, and the results of the simulation showed that, when the operating pressure was 200 kg m-3, the rate of global conversion was significantly impeded by the mass transfer limitation.
