Comparative Evaluation of Antibacterial Efficacy of Aloe Barbadensis Miller, Camellia Sinensis, Azadirachta Indica and Doxycycline with Sodium Hypochlorite as Root Canal Irrigant against E. Faecalis: An In-Vitro Study
TLDR
The present study was done to evaluate and compare the antibacterial efficacy of Doxycycline, Camellia Sinensis, Aloe barbadensis Miller, Azadirachta indica and saline with Sodium hypochlorite as an intracanal irrigant against E.faecalis.Abstract:
Aims and objectives: Successful root canal treatment involves the complete elimination of pathogenic microorganisms from the root canal system. Enterococcus faecalis is one of them which is most commonly detected in asymptomatic persistent endodontic infections. Chemical irrigation of the root canals along with biomechanical preparation helps in the elimination of such microorganisms. Thus, the present study was done to evaluate and compare the antibacterial efficacy of Doxycycline, Camellia Sinensis, Aloe barbadensis Miller, Azadirachta indica and saline with Sodium hypochlorite as an intracanal irrigant against E.faecalis. Silver Nanoparticles Phytofabricated through Azadirachta indica: Anticancer, Apoptotic, and Wound-Healing Properties
Yogesh Dutt,R. P. Pandey,Mamta Dutt,Archana Gupta,Arpana Vibhuti,V. Samuel Raj,Chung-Ming Chang,Anjali Priyadarshini +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , Azadirachta indica extracts were used as a reducing agent, stabilizing agent, and functionalizing agent for wound healing, and the results showed that AgNPs (6.26 µg/mL) induced the cellular migration (40.2% and 33.23% respectively) of colon carcinoma cells.

Synthesis and Biological Characterization of Phyto-Fabricated Silver Nanoparticles from Azadirachta indica
Yogesh Dutt,R. P. Pandey,Mamta Dutt,Archana Gupta,Arpana Vibhuti,V. Samuel Raj,Chung-Ming Chang,Anjali Priyadarshini +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , Azadirachta indica extracts were utilized for a dual role of fabrication and functionalization of AgNPs and optical and physical characterizations were achieved for confirming the biosynthesized AgNs.

Bacteriologic evaluation of the efficacy of mechanical root canal instrumentation in endodontic therapy.
TL;DR: The presence of bacteria in 17 single-rooted teeth, with periapical lesions, was studied throughout a whole period of treatment and there was no evidence that specific microorganisms were implicated in these persistent infections.

Influence on periapical tissues of indigenous oral bacteria and necrotic pulp tissue in monkeys
TL;DR: It was shown that noninfected necrotic pulp tissue did not induce inflammatory reactions in the apical tissues and teeth with infected pulp tissue showed inflammatory reactions clinically and radiographically, and Facultatively anaerobic streptococci, coliform rods and obligately anaerilic bacterial strains were most frequently found.
