Subplane covered nets and semipartial geometries

TL;DR: Using the characterization theorems for (semi)partial geometries which satisfy the diagonal axiom, it is proved that subplane covered nets or equivqlently (n − 1)-regulus nets are isomorphic to the dual of the geometry H qn+ 1 with point set.
Journal ArticleDOI

The derivation of dual translation planes

TL;DR: In this article, a finite affine plane that permits derivation and a derivable net embedded in it is considered and the main question with regard to the collineation group of is whether the full group of the derived plane is the inherited group.
Journal ArticleDOI

Direct Products of Affine Partial Linear Spaces

TL;DR: Analysis of derivable and subplane covered nets as direct product nets provides characterizations of these nets, and construction of maximal partial spreads is considered.
Journal ArticleDOI

A group theoretic characterization of finite derivable nets

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that a finite net of orderq2 and degreeq + 1 is a derivable net if and only if the net admits a collineation group isomorphic to PSL(4,q)N (whereN is a line of the associated 3-dimensional projective space upon which the abstract group acts).
