A morphometric study of the mud crab, panopeus austrobesus williams, 1983 (decapoda, brachyura) from a subtropical mangrove in south america
TL;DR: The relative growth of the xanthid crab, Panopeus austrobesus was investigated by means of the allometric method and suggested that males reach their sexual maturity near 14.6 mm CW, while females reach larger sizes than females, which probably provides them better conditions to protect females during courtship.
