Design and Performance Evaluation of a Low Bit-Rate Packet Radio Network

TLDR
A wireless wide-area network, capable of catering to low bit-rate applications, is developed and computer simulation is employed to study the effect of traffic on the delay offered by the network.
Abstract
A wireless wide-area network, capable of catering to low bit-rate applications is developed. The issues involved, both hardware and software, in the design of such a network are discussed. The network was operated under different conditions of error and the performance analyzed. Computer simulation is employed to study the effect of traffic on the delay offered by the network.

Modeling and performance analysis of multihop packet radio networks

TL;DR: The various modeling techniques that have been used for the performance analysis of packet radio networks are surveyed, and the assumptions underlying these models, their scope of applicability, and some of the results obtained are discussed.
