Design of on-line UPS based on boost converter

TLDR
Design and build up a new on-line digital UPS based on boost topological structure with a new kind of single-chip computer, STC12C5412AD, characterized by the output of un-interruption and high stability, low distortion, free of interference, low cost and multi-function.
Abstract
Design and build up a new on-line digital UPS based on boost topological structure with a new kind of single-chip computer, STC12C5412AD, realizing sine wave and square wave output, and shifting among 50Hz, 60 Hz, and 400Hz of the supply for adopting into different industrial standards and applications. Such UPS system contains the module of intelligent charging from storage battery and thorough security functions, characterized by the output of un-interruption and high stability, low distortion, free of interference, low cost and multi-function.

Real time monitoring system for prediction of tool wear and failure in machining processes using ART2

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed an on-line monitoring system for tool wear and failure in metal cutting processes, which consists of two parts: the first part consists of an online data acquisition system with sensors and a DSP board through LabView and a web server, and the second part is the prediction of tool wear using an ART2 neural network.

A MOSFET's Driver Applied to High-frequency Switching with Wide Range of Duty Cycles

TL;DR: In this paper, a gate driver based on magnetic coupling is investigated, which can meet the demands in applications for a wide range of duty cycles and high frequency, and no auxiliary supply is needed.

Shape classification of snow particle into snowflake and graupel using image processing

TL;DR: In this paper, an automatic image processing method for classification of falling snow particles was proposed, which was successfully tested in snowfall, obtaining the percentages of snowflakes and graupels at 1 min interval.

Detection of human walking motion based on measurement system of current generated by electrostatic induction

TL;DR: In this article, an effective noncontact technique for the detection of human walking motion is proposed, which involves the measurement of the electrostatic induction current flowing through a measurement electrode, and an occurrence model for the electric potential of the human body is proposed.
