TLDR
In this paper, it is shown that theory is needed at all levels, namely for simplification in lower education and for abstraction and generalization in higher education, and it is also shown that the relation between measurement theory and education should be discussed from a didactic point of view.

Poučavanje objektno orijentiranog programiranja metodom didaktičkog skrivanja

Divna Krpan
TL;DR: Results showed that students who used OTTER also applied more OOP concepts than students who didn't use the framework, and Appropriateness of teaching OOP to higher education novice programmers using didactic reduction was proved.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

I&M in the 21st century engineering curriculum-a direction for change

TL;DR: In this article, the authors address the issue of appropriate treatment and placement of both measurement theory and practical instrumentation matters within the contemporary engineering curriculum, and conclude that I & M should no longer be treated primarily as a "basic" discipline which is presented in the early years of the course, but rather (ii) that in the 21st century I&M matters should be treated at an advanced level.

From verbal models to mathematical models – a didactical concept not just in metrology

Karl H. Ruhm
TL;DR: This survey illustrates how empirical and analytical approaches use appropriate mathematical models based on Signal and System Theory to fit interdisciplinary measurement requirements.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

The philosophy and driving forces in the development of measurement science - some views upon the problems

TL;DR: Methods of teaching in the discipline of distributed measurement systems are presented, and laboratory exercises carried out by the students of the Faculty of Automation and the English Language Department of Engineering at the Technical University of Sofia are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

High resolution radar imaging

Dean L. Mensa
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a high-resolution radar imaging system for high resolution radar imaging, which can be found in the High-Resolution Radar Imaging (HRIMI) project.
Journal ArticleDOI

Minimizing aliasing errors of sensors with digital output

TL;DR: Investigations show among other things the new and important result that, in the case of a mean operation, the sampling frequency may only be half the value due to the sampling theorem.

Education and training of engineers and scientists in measurement and instrumentation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors reviewed problems of education and training in measurement and instrumentation, and the work of IMEKO in this field, among the principal topics discussed is the nature, scope and organisation of measurement and instruments science.
