This paper describes the simulation of a control scheme using the principle of field orientation for the control of a voltage source inverter-fed induction motor. The control principle is explained, followed by an algorithm to simulate various components of the system in the digital computer. The dynamic response of the system for the load disturbance and set-point variations have been studied. Also, the results of the simulation showing the behavior of field coordinates for such disturbances are given.read more

Modeling and simulation of induction machine vector control with rotor resistance identification
TL;DR: This paper shows that it is possible to use available commercial software to model and simulate a vector-controlled induction machine system, and a technique for generating pulse-width modulation (PWM) phase commands to extend machine operation to higher speeds before field weakening occurs is simulated.

Enhanced Predictive Torque Control for Open End Winding Induction Motor Drive Without Weighting Factor Assignment
TL;DR: The proposed scheme is extended by replacing a single-cost function with separate multiobjectives and its optimization is achieved using a simple ranking analysis with limited prediction voltage vectors (VVs).

A Simplified Predictive Torque Control Scheme for Open-End Winding Induction Motor Drive
TL;DR: The flux control objective is replaced by an equivalent reactive torque control, making two control objectives of the same units and eliminating the requirement of flux weighting factor in cost function.

Parameter Adaption for the Speed-Controlled Static AC Drive with a Squirrel-Cage Induction Motor
TL;DR: In this paper, the rotor resistance is the most essential changing parameter and a method of automatic adaption of the control to the changes in this parameter is presented, based on the measurement of only motor voltages and currents and is implemented by analog means.

Field-Oriented Control of a Standard AC Motor Using Microprocessors
TL;DR: In this paper, it is shown that the flux signals may be derived from sensing coils or, with some compromise in performance, from the stator voltages and currents, and the speed signal is obtained from a digital tachometer.

High Performance IM Drive by Coordinate Control Using a Controlled Current Inverter
TL;DR: In this article, a generalized coordinate control system and a method of compensating for variations in flux and torque resulting from a difference between actual constants and controller constants are described. But this is achieved by a coordinate transformation of the electrical quantities of an induction motor.
