The invention discloses an insulation metal cloth-containing single core cable distributed induction current calculating method comprising the following steps: S1, measuring grounding resistances RL and RR on two ends of the cable, and calculating a ground leakage resistance Re and cable two-end equivalent resistances Rd1 and Rd2; S2, checking or measuring a corrugated aluminum sheath pitch lengthx, calculating the divided unit number n of the whole high voltage cable line, and measuring an insulation metal cloth copper wire diameter d; S3, calculating a unit aluminum sheath resistance R1 anda unit copper wire resistance R2; S4, calculating line unit induction electromotive force U1 and U2 formed by a cable core current, and calculating induction electromotive force U1 ' and U2 ' of eachsegment and formed by an induction circulating current on a cable sheath and the copper wire; S5, measuring the AC resistance between a waterproof lapping and a metal cloth wire copper and between the metal cloth copper wire and the aluminum sheath, and calculating the unit resistance R12; S6, calculating an induction current vector I of each branch of a circuit model. The method can easily solvethe induction current of each segment of this type cable.
