TLDR
In this paper, the authors analyzed the densite a la pression zero du compact vert a diverses pressions a ete calculee en mettant sous forme numerique the courbe charge-deplacement and the pression d'ejection a eite determinee a partir de la charge maximale de glissement donnee par la Courbe charge d"ejection-mouvement du compact.
Abstract

Pressure consolidation of amorphous ZrO2-Al2O3 by plastic deformation of powder particles

TL;DR: Amorphous powders undergo densification at low temperatures and moderate uniaxial pressures as mentioned in this paper, and it is established that large pressure dependent densification and little time-dependent densification occur.

Densification of composite powder compacts in pressure cycling

TL;DR: The effect of pressure cycling on the consolidation of green composites from powders is investigated in this paper, where mixed powders of lead and various amounts of alumina were consolidated under static and cyclic pressure at room temperature in constrained "uniaxial" consolidation experiments.

Particle material, morphology and load effects on internal friction in powders

TL;DR: In this paper, the coefficient of internal friction calculated from shear cell measurements at normal stresses of 0.4-1.4 MPa was compared with that deduced from die stresses during die pressing to about 300 MPa.

Agglomeration of magnesia powders precipitated from sea water and its effects on uniaxial compaction

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of calcination temperature on uniaxial compaction of magnesium oxide (MgO) powders precipitated from sea water was examined and the relationship between green density and applied pressure between 50 and 200 MPa was analyzed by Niesz's equation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of the porosity-pressure relation of cohesionless powders

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of the particle size distribution on the compaction of cohesionless powders was investigated, and it was shown that the densification of a powder during compaction may be treated as a pseudo-rate process.

Effect of particle size and speed of compaction on density changes in tablets of crystalline and spray‐dried lactose

TL;DR: Calculation of the mechanism of densification by two different methods showed that particle rearrangement was greatest for the smallest size fraction both at slow and high speeds.

The Porosity-Pressure Curve and its Relation to the Pore-Size Distribution in Iron Powder Compacts

TL;DR: In this article, the porosity of the hollow sphere is calculated from the diameter of the largest pore through a function closely approximating the complementary error function, and it is shown that the relation between the largest diameter and the compacting pressure cannot be described by a straight line in either loglinear or log-log coordinates.
