Effects of exogenous oxalic acid on ripening and decay incidence in mango fruit during storage at room temperature

TLDR
In this paper, a mango fruit (Mangifera indica L. cv. Zill) was dipped in 5 mM oxalic acid solution for 10 min at 25 °C to investigate effects on ripening and decay incidence during storage at room temperature.

Induction of defense responses against Alternaria rot by different elicitors in harvested pear fruit.

TL;DR: Among these different elicitors, SA treatment showed the best result in inducing the defense responses and reducing the decay in pear fruit, indicating all the elicitors could significantly enhance defense-related enzyme activities and reduce the disease incidence caused by Alternaria alternata.
