Influence of Anisotropy on Optical Bistability in Plasmonic Nanoparticles with Cylindrical Symmetry

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of radial anisotropy on optical bistability in cylindrical nanoshells is theoretically investigated within the quasi-static approximation, and it is shown that significant optical Bistability and all-optical switching behavior can be obtained in the nano-shells due to nonlinearity enhancement via the plasmonic structure.

Physical optics solution for the scattering of a partially coherent wave from a circular cylinder

TL;DR: In this article, the physical optics solution for the scattering of a partially coherent wave from a circular cylinder is presented and derivations of the far-zone scattered fields are presented and discussed.

Numerical Analysis of Electromagnetic Wave Scattered by High-Contrast Dielectric Cylinder Using CIP Method

TL;DR: Numerical analysis of scattered electromagnetic wave in free space by a dielectric cylinder with high dielectrics constant is demonstrated by constrained interpolation profile (CIP) method and could well explain output performance of microwave experiment around 4 GHz.
