TLDR
In this article, it was shown that large N singularities of parton densities are related by a gauge transformation to a class of collinear singularities, which are calculable to all orders by a change of scale in α S ( Q 2 ).

Summation of Large Corrections to Short Distance Hadronic Cross-Sections

TL;DR: In this article, the large soft gluon corrections to short distance hadronic cross sections are summed to all orders in perturbation theory, and the exponentiation of leading and non-leading ln(n) terms in moments of these cross sections is verified.
Journal ArticleDOI

A QCD model for jet fragmentation including soft gluon interference

TL;DR: In this paper, a new model for hadronic jet fragmentation in hard processes is presented based on a QCD parton branching mechanism with correct treatment of leading collinear and infra-red singularities (i.e. including soft gluon interference).
Journal ArticleDOI

Resummation of the QCD perturbative series for hard processes

TL;DR: In this paper, a general method to exponentiate leading and next-to-leading logarithms to all orders in perturbation theory is developed and a complete formula for the large N -moments is given and shown to agree with previous two-loop calculations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simulation of QCD jets including soft gluon interference

TL;DR: In this paper, a new Monte Carlo simulation scheme for jet evolution in perturative QCD is presented, which takes into account the results of recent analyses of soft-gluon interference.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coherence effects in initial jets at small Q2/s

TL;DR: In this paper, the QCD evolution of initial jets (corresponding to space-like partons) is analyzed for small Bjorken x. Coherent effects are described by a gluon emission current which also embodies internal line insertions to double log accuracy.

Evolution of parton densities beyond leading order: The non-singlet case

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed a technique based explicitly on the factorization properties of mass singularities, which allows one to calculate the evolution of parton densities beyond leading order.

A treatment of hard processes sensitive to the infrared structure of QCD

TL;DR: In this article, a modified jet evolution equation is proposed which resums large corrections to the usual leading logarithmic approximation when phase-space constraints expose the singular infrared structure of QCD.

Relating Hard QCD Processes Through Universality of Mass Singularities

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors obtained at all orders the factorization of mass singularities for every hard QCD process, which appeared in a universal factor that can be reabsorbed into the standard parton density.

Factorization and the parton model in QCD

TL;DR: In this article, the authors argue that mass-singularities of inclusive cross sections in QCD factor to all orders in perturbation theory as required for a parton model interpretation.
