Journal ArticleDOI

Exchange coupling and magnetic blocking in bipyrimidyl radical-bridged dilanthanide complexes.

TL;DR: The synthesis and magnetic properties of three new bipyrimidyl radical-bridged dilanthanide complexes, [(Cp*(2)Ln)(2)(μ-bpym(•))](+) (Ln = Gd, Tb, Dy), are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aromatic nitrogen heterocycles as bridging ligands; a survey

TL;DR: In this paper, a serie de coordinats bidentes et tridentes, heterocycliques azotes are discussed, together with a discussion of the relation between them.
Journal ArticleDOI

N,N′-Chelating biheteroaromatic ligands; a survey

TL;DR: Etude de coordinats organiques heterocycliques azotes ou possedant des atomes de soufre (ou oxygene) and d'azote as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

The coordination chemistry of 1,2,4,5-tetrazines

TL;DR: 1,2,4,5-Tetrazine and its 3,6-disubstituted derivatives exhibit a particular coordination chemistry, characterized by electron and charge transfer phenomena and by the ability of these heteroatom-rich ligands to bridge metal centers in various ways as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complexes with 2,2â²-azobispyridine and related 'S-frame' bridging ligands containing the azo function

TL;DR: Bridging ligands involving the azo group as coordinating π acceptor function can yield dinuclear complexes with unusual electronic and structural features as discussed by the authors, including several easily accessible oxidation states, longwavelength charge-transfer absorptions, relatively small metal-metal distances, various forms of isomerism, and the stability of radical intermediates and/or mixed-valent states.
