Inhibition of Tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) on hypertrophic scar derived fibroblasts

TLDR
The absorbance of MTT method indicated that TL can inhibit the proliferation of hypertrophic scar derived fibroblasts and reduce the collagen synthesis of the cells, when the fibro Blasts are treated with TL.
Abstract
AIM: To investigate the mechanism of the effect of TL on hypertrophic scar fibroblast. METHODS: Hypertrophic scar derived fibroblasts were cultured in vitro . The proliferation of the fibroblasts is examined by MTT method, and the synthesis of collagen by the fibroblasts is examined by hydroxy proline (HP)colorimetric analysis. RESULTS: The absorbance of MTT method indicated that TL can inhibit the proliferation of hypertrophic scar derived fibroblasts. TL can also reduce the collagen synthesis of the cells, when the fibroblasts are treated with TL. CONCLUSION: TL can inhibit the proliferation and collagen synthesis of the hypertrophic scar derived fibroblasts.

Reversal of P-glycoprotein-mediated multidrug resistance in human hepatoma cells by hedyotiscone A, a compound isolated from Hedyotis corymbosa

TL;DR: The study demonstrated for the first time the antiproliferative activities of hedyotiscone A in multidrug-resistant R-HepG2 cells, revealing the potential of this compound in treating multidrog-resistant tumor.
