A cloud infrastructure system offering a set of cloud services are disclosed. The cloud infrastructure system may store a service catalog of a set of registered services provided by the cloud infrastructure system. For each registered service, a service declaration can be associated with the registered service. A customer may order a selected service from the set of registered services provided by the cloud infrastructure system. A service declaration from the set of service declarations specific to the requested service is determined and used to provision resources for enabling the selected service.
