Journal ArticleDOI
Electronic crystals: an experimental overview
TL;DR: In this paper, the static and dynamic properties of spontaneous superstructures formed by electrons are reviewed, and a special attention is paid to the collective effects in pinning and sliding of these structures, and the glassy properties at low temperature.
Book ChapterDOI
Charge Density Wave Instabilities and Transport Properties of the Low Dimensional Molybdenum Bronzes and Oxides
TL;DR: In this article, the quasi-one-dimensional (1D) conductors are compared to more simple theoretical models for low-dimensional conductors, such as quasi-2D and quasi-3D conductors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermal fluctuations and NMR spectra of incommensurate systems.
A. M. Fajdiga,Tomaž Apih,Janez Dolinšek,Robert Blinc,A. P. Levanyuk,S. A. Minyukov,David C. Ailion +6 more
TL;DR: 2D spectra of ultrapure agree with the above theory and show the existence of a temperature range where the incommensurate splitting induced by the static part of the order parameter is averaged out by thermal fluctuations.

NMR in multidimensionally modulated incommensurate and CDW systems

Charge Density Waves: Pinning and Dynamics
TL;DR: In this paper, the properties of charge density wave (CDW) low dimensional conductors are reviewed, with special reference to the molybdenum bronzes, showing non linear transport due to the depinning of the CDW, the origin of metastability in the low electric field state as well as some aspects of CDW dynamics.
