PRISM을 이용한 30 m 해상도의 상세 일별 기온 추정
TL;DR: In this paper, a modified Parameter-elevation Regression on Independent Slopes Model (K-PRISM) was used to estimate the daily January temperature from 2003 to 2012 with 30 m-resolution over South Korea, using a modified PRISM.

Effects of Adverse Weather on Free Space Optics
Roberto Nebuloni,Carlo Capsoni +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a state-of-the-art assessment of the models quantifying laser beam attenuation by fog and hydrometeors is presented, based on simple relations between attenuation and easily accessible quantities, such as the visibility or the precipitation rate.

Temporally downscaling a precipitation intensity factor for soil erosion modeling using the NOAA-ASOS weather station network
TL;DR: In this paper, bias adjustment factors were determined for a range of selected temporal resolutions and Koppen-Geiger climate regions in the United States in the case of monthly mean maximum 30-minute intensity (MX.5P), which is a parameter used to generate stochastic meteorological inputs for models that include RHEM and the Water Erosion Prediction Project model.

Impacto del ENOS sobre los rendimientos de maíz en la región pampeana argentina
TL;DR: In this article, the impact of the ENOS on the productividad of maiz in the region pampeana argentina was analyzed. But, as stated, el impact is muy fuerte al norte and centro de la region analizada, and se debilita hacia el sur, in particular, en el sudeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires.

Improved detection of low stratus and fog at dawn from dual geostationary (COMS and FY-2D) satellites
Jung Moon Yoo,Gyo Hwang Choo,Kwon-Ho Lee,Dong L. Wu,Dong L. Wu,Jung Hyun Yang,Jun Dong Park,Yong-Sang Choi,Dong Bin Shin,Jin Hee Jeong,Jung Min Yoo +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a novel method was proposed to detect low stratus and fog (LSF) at dawn during the summertime using near-simultaneous observations from dual geostationary-orbit satellites (GEOs): the Korean Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite (COMS; 128.2°E) and the Chinese Feng-Yun-2D (FY 2D; 86.5°E).
