Conflict and Compatibility in Punjabi-Mexican Immigrant Families in Rural California, 1915-1965

TL;DR: In this paper, Leonard and LaBrack examined the inter-ethnic families formed after 1915 in Ru Calif by immigrant men from India and their spouses of Hispanic background and found that the transitory nature of this unique "Mexican-Hindi" community had become clear; to explain these developments, focus is on compatibility a conflict in family life over the life cycle.
